Death Metal

  1. To start off, tap the O button to engage your lightsaber—err…your Beam Katana sword. Attack the dude coming down the stairs to the left. Follow the on-screen instructions by pressing R3 when prompted to in order to go into some killer combos.
  2. After you take out both enemies, head up the stairs and through the double doors. After you head into the next door, kill the group of enemies by following the on-screen buttons that appear during each battle.
  3. Destroy the glowing pink box in between the two beds to pick up some health, then head through the next open door. Turn right down the hallway and follow it to the next set of stairs.
  4. Head across the hallway at the top of the stairs and break open the glowing blue box at the end to pick up a battery. Turn around, go right and destroy the chest at the end of this short hallway.
  5. After you head into the room on the right, kill the enemies that appear. Break open the chest in front of the desk to pick up another training card. Pick up the health near the newly opened door on the right, then walk through.
  6. Destroy the chest to the right, then turn left, then right and on down the stairs. Kill the enemies down at the bottom of the stairs, then continue down the hallway. Make your way all the way around the hallway, killing all enemies along the way. Break open the chest at the end, then head back through the doorway leading to the center room with the small pool.
  7. Kill the lone enemy inside, then turn around and open the double doors directly across the the hallway. Head down the spiral staircase, then head down the walkway that goes under the stairs.
  8. Kill the enemies down the hallway, picking up the health and battery along the way. Once you arrive at the next area, kill all of the enemies and break open all of the chests/boxes around the outside of the room.
  9. Once you clear the room, head for the now open gold gates. Kill the dude who will be waiting there before heading outside. Turn left to get the trading card in the chest, then make your way down the outside pathway, killing all enemies along the way.
  10. After you get inside the next building and have that brief phone conversation, follow the red carpet in the large hallway to the next door. Break open the chest on the right as well as the two glowing chests in front of the door before examining the mask on the floor to the left.
  11. Turn right and head through the double doors. Following that ridiculous cutscene, you’ll have to fight tattoo guy in a duel. As you can see, the guy carries a huge sword. Get close (but not too close) and then jump back when he begins his combo.
  12. After his final swing, swoop in and get in as many swipes as possible. Once you see the stars spinning around his head, tap R3 and L3 simultaneously, then follow the directional commands to inflict a devastating blow.
  13. This fool will then multiply and you’ll have to kill off his two clones. After you do, pick up the health along the wall if you need it, but make sure you continue to fight him in the center of the area so he can’t pin you down against the wall.
  14. Get his health down to its final drop, then once you see the stars around his head again, use the analog sticks to perform a finishing combo to kill him. With that joker dead, open the chest to collect your prize, then go stand on the highlighted circle and press X to talk to that slutty chick.
  15. After you explore Travis’ bedroom (and living room), select “Exit.” Walk down stairs and across the parking lot toward the exclamation point in front of the limo.
  16. Following the cutscene, enter K-Entertainment. After getting rejected, press the square button to have your bike brought to you. Hop on and head south toward the pick icon on your map.
  17. When you arrive at the Job Center, hop off your bike and head inside. After you talk to the guy at the desk, select the Coconut Collector job on the bulletin board. Hop on your bike and head for the pink “M” on your map.
  18. After you talk to the guy behind the cart, you’ll have three minutes to get as many coconuts as possible down from the trees and back to the cart. Use combo attacks to punch the trees, then tap X repeatedly to move quickly when carrying a coconut.
  19. ACHIEVEMENT: Rack up as many coconuts as possible to earn the “You’re Working Hard, Rookie” Achievement.
  20. Back in front of K-Entertainment, walk inside and select Assassination Gig 01. Hop on your bike and head for the black “M.” Park outside the public parking lot and head inside.
  21. Your mission is to take out the target, but you’ll have to fight through other enemies to get to him. However, in order to get to the target under a minute, don’t even engage with the other men, just run around them and head for the target. Kill the target to complete the mission.
  22. Once back on your bike, head for the “$” icon on your map, then head back to your apartment. After Travis checks his messages, head back outside, get on your bike and head for the “IX” icon on your map.

Dr. Peace

  1. After you arrive at Dr. Peace’s place, kill the two fools in the baseball jerseys just up ahead. Turn right and kill the rest of the guys down the parking garage. Break open the chests, then turn around and kill the guys down the other end of the garage.
  2. Pick up the health next to the vending machine, then head up to the second level. Head down the pathway and kill all enemies along the way. After you head through the next parking gate, it will be time for a little game of baseball.
  3. You’ll have three pitches to kill all of the enemies down the line. Use the O button to swing and hit the ball back at the enemies. After you take them all out, get the items from the chests on the right wall as you make your way down.
  4. Kill the next group of enemies around the turn, then head up the next ramp and through the exit gate at the top. Kill another group of guards, then head through the next gate.
  5. More baseball! He’ll throw it harder this time, but the concept is the same. Open the chests along the wall as you head down the path. Kill the two groups of enemies around the turn, then head down and get on the elevator.
  6. When you got off, kill the next group of guards down the hallway, picking up all of the items in the chests along the way. After you head through the double doors and have your phone conversation, head down the next hallway.
  7. Pick up the mask and break the surrounding chests before heading through the door in front of the “S” to save your game. Continue down the hallway, break open the pink chest at the turn and continue on through the door.
  8. After meeting Dr. Peace, charge the mound but use your sword to block his bullets. As you get closer, don’t run in a straight line, but cut around from one side or the other and attack him at an angle.
  9. Get in as many sword swipes as you can before he starts to glow. When you see that light form around him, back off and begin running around him in a circle. As soon as you see him reach for his gun, perform a roll in the opposite direction to avert his gun blast.
  10. Like the boss before, once you see stars around his head, tap both analog sticks repeatedly and follow the control commands to execute a devastating blow. Dr. Peace will be tricky, so make sure you grab the health and battery near the two dugouts when you get a chance.
  11. After you defeat him, break open the nearby chest to earn your prize. After you save your game, select “yes” to catch some Z’s.
  12. After you doze off, you’ll then wake up and have to face some dude named Skelter Helter. This boss will be just like the other two, except he’ll have both a gun and a sword!
  13. After you get in a combo attack, quickly back away to avoid his sword swipes. Keep your sword ready to block his gun blasts, then attack him again. Also, like before, tap both analog sticks repeatedly when you see the stars over his head.
  14. Next, head over to the black icon with the yellow writing on the east side of the map. (Keep in mind that if you spot dumpsters along the way, you can kick them open and earn extra money.
  15. Enter the Thunder Rye Bldg. Following that disturbing dialog, complete the simple weight exercises to increase your strength and your beam katana combo. This will come in handy later.
  16. After you exit, head back to the job center to earn some extra cash. Select “Lawn Mowing,” then head for the pink “M” on the map to begin the mission. Once you arrive, it’s pretty self-explanatory: use the lawn mower to cut as much grass as possible in two minutes. (From here on out, since the odd jobs themselves are so simple, go back to the Job Center whenever you need more money.)
  17. After you earn your reward, head for the “$” icon on your map, then head back to your apartment. After Travis checks his messages, head back outside, get on your bike and head for the “VIII” icon on your map.

Shinobu

  1. Begin by taking out the attacking enemies in the courtyard. Take out the next group over to the right, clear the entire area, then head up the stairs and through the double doors.
  2. Kill the first couple guys inside, turn right to at the end of the hallway to get the training card in the chest, then turn around and head down the hallway, killing all of the dudes long the way.
  3. Clear the rest of the downstairs area, then head for the exclamation point will appear in front of the double doors after you do. This next part is hilarious! With an electrocuted Travis, head past the enemies down the hallway and follow it around to the end.
  4. Once you reach the end, turn left inside the control room and turn off the sprinkler system. Head back down the hallway and clear all of the enemies on the second floor. Once the exclamation point appears in front of the red doors, head inside.
  5. No time for basketball! Kill all of the enemies in this area and make sure to pick up the health and other items from the chests around the perimeter of the court.
  6. After you clear the gym, exit through the open doors and head down the hallway. After you turn right up the stairs, head down the hallway, save your game, pick up the health if you need it, then go and meet Shinobu.
  7. Her hair may be stupid, but she is ridiculously quick. Like before, allow her to execute her combos, then move in when she finishes and get in as many swipes as possible.
  8. Watch out when she starts to glow because she will unleash a wicked combo on you if you get in the way. Other than that, she is probably the easiest boss yet. Break open the chest after you defeat her to complete the mission.
  9. After you save your game, you’ll have another one of those fight scenes that take place while you are sitting on the toilet (don’t ask why).
  10. This fool shoots rockets out of his boom box, but other than that he is pretty simple. After you defeat him, sign the invoice on the fax machine and go out and earn the required amount of money by doing various jobs for your next assassination. Once you turn in the money, head for the “VII” icon on your map.

Destroyman

  1. Turn left and get the training card in the chest, then head for the exclamation point. Once on the subway platform, head for the next exclamation point. Now on the subway, head down each car and kill all enemies along the way.
  2. After you get off subway, turn right and get the trading card out of the chest on the backside of the staircase. Turn around and head for the exit stairs at the end of the platform.
  3. After you hit the next two exclamation points, turn left through the opening in the wall. Grab the health in the right corner, then head through the door. Kill all of the enemies, then take care of the ones upstairs.
  4. Once you clear the entire building, head back downstairs through the open door and head across to the next building. Do the exact same in the next building. After you exit, grab the health over to the right, then head into the next building and yes, kill more dudes with bags on their heads.
  5. Following your phone conversation, exit out the next door and pick up the mask along with all of the items in the chests before saving your game. Head for the exclamation point to meet Destroyman!
  6. This game is too much! Destroyman is different it that he won’t use a sword or gun to kill you. However, you will have to watch out for his fireballs, ground-pounds, lasers and spears.
  7. Once you see stars around his head and are able to finish a devastating blow again him, Destroyman will raise five wires carrying various objects. In order to get him and the objects down to ground level, run in front of the four remaining lights (where the control panels are) and destroy them.
  8. Once back on the ground, get back to carving him up. Also, keep in mind that when you see him start to glow and gear up for an attack, he’ll be so slow in delivering it that you might have time to hit from the side and prevent him from completing his attack.
  9. After you defeat him, collect your prize from the chest. Once you get back to your apartment and you collect your next invoice, go out and perform what ever odd jobs you need to in order to come up with the money.
  10. After you earn your enough money, head for the “$” icon on your map, then head back to your apartment. After Travis checks his messages, head back outside, get on your bike and head for the “VI” icon on your map.

Holly Summers

  1. You’ll have to kill a bunch of armed forces dudes this time around. Kill all enemies on this area of the beach, then break through the chicken wire to get to the next area. Do the same here, clear the area, then break the next wire and proceed to the next area.
  2. Following Travis’ phone call, head around the obstacles and up the stairs to the right. Pick up all of the items, save your game and hear down the other set of stairs to the left.
  3. Surprise! A hot chick with a prosthetic leg and a shovel! Don’t be deceived, this chick is tough, but more annoying than anything else. When she fires off a bunch of rockets, run in a circle and continue to perform a series of rolls to escape them.
  4. The annoying part comes when she sprints to the other side of the beach and conjures these sand pits to appear beneath your feet. Once you dig yourself out, sprint after her and get off as many combos as possible before she runs away.
  5. This pattern will repeat itself. It’s a boring fight, but an easy one. After you defeat her, open the chest to get your prize, then stand on the exclamation point to bury her.
  6. Once you arrive back at your apartment, get your newest invoice and sign your name. Note: If you watch some TV, you can learn some new moves in the process. (To learn more moves, go pick up more videos from the “Beef Head.”
  7. Again, as boring as this is, after you earn your enough money, head for the “$” icon on your map, then head back to your apartment. After Travis checks his messages, head back outside, get on your bike and head for the “V” icon on your map.

Letz Shake

  1. Head down the stairs, break open the two nearby chests and head down the hallway. Chase down the wusses that will run away from you, then kill the attacking enemies in the fancy blue outfits when you finally come in contact with them.
  2. You’ll have to continue to chase down the mysterious dude in the black and kill the more guys in blue outfits down what will seem live a never-ending tunnel. Once you reach the chest, get the training card inside.
  3. After you save your game and pick up the health and battery tokens, continue down the tunnel and out towards the light.
  4. Following the cutscene, you’ll notice that some Irish lad named Henry swooped in and stole all of your fun. With Letz Shake dead, you automatically move up the list!
  5. Once back in your apartment, sign your new work invoice and get back to the mundane tasks of earning money. You can also make your way to the turquoise icon on your map with the katana (Naomi’s Lab) to upgrade your weapons and the Thunder Ryu Bldg. to increase your strength and katana combos.
  6. Once you have enough money, head for the “$” icon on your map, then head back to your apartment. After Travis checks his messages, head back outside, get on your bike and head for the “IV” icon on your map.

Harvey Moiseiwitsch Volodarrskii

  1. Head down the stairs, turn right through the turnstiles and take out the attacking enemies. Head down the stairs to the lower level of the subway and take out the next wave of enemies.
  2. Clear the entire subway platform, then stand on on the exclamation point and wait for the subway to arrive. For whatever reason, you’ll then have to complete a minigame in the same vein as Galaga.
  3. Once you complete it, turn to the right and grab the training card in the chest near the stairs. Head down the other end of the platform and up the stairs. Grab the items in the two chests, save your game and head to the exclamation point.
  4. This fool has dual katana sticks, and he disappears! He’s not too tough, but like the last chick, his constant disappearing and reappearing is annoying.
  5. After you get his life about halfway down, the game will cut to a stupid cutscene several times where you take part in one of his magic tricks. Again, this is another annoying time-waster; just go back to carving him up after each one and you shouldn’t have any trouble.
  6. Back at your apartment, you should know the routine by now: sign the invoice and get back to earning more cash. Head for the “$” icon on your map after you have enough cash, then head back to your apartment. After Travis checks his messages, head back outside, get on your bike and head for the “III” icon on your map.

Speed Buster

  1. Start out by taking out all of the fools in the purple suites around the bus station. Pick up all of items from the nearby chests, then head for the exclamation point to get on one of the buses.
  2. You will then go into a sort of 2-D mode and have to kill another group of purple suites on the bus. After you have done so, and following Travis’ phone conversation, go and stand on the exclamation point to exit the bus.
  3. After you get off, get the items from the chests, save your game and then go meet the infamous Speed Buster.
  4. Now this looks fun! Avoid this fat chick’s monster laser gun by breaking cover in the alcoves on either side of the main path. As you advance down the path, you’ll have to kill more of those purple suits, so look on you map for any red dots and make sure you kill them before advancing.
  5. Once you get to the final part of the pathway, you’ll have nowhere to hide and will have to tap X repeatedly in order to block her laser gun attack. As you get closer, you should spot another alcove on the left side. Head over to it and chop down the telephone pole, which in turn will create a domino effect and eventually destroy Buster’s gun.
  6. All you have to do from there is run up to here and witness another bizarre cutscene. Following that, collect your prize and stand on the exclamation point to send you back to Travis’ apartment.
  7. After you sign the next invoice, get back to earning more cash. Again, keep in mind that learning more moves (by watching more videos from “Beef Head”), training and picking up new parts for your katana from Naomi’s lab will greatly help you during your battles.
  8. Head for the “$” icon on your map after you have enough cash, then head back to your apartment. After Travis checks his messages, head back outside, get on your bike and head for the “II” icon on your map.

Bad Girl

  1. Use your bike to run over all of the enemies on the baseball field. Take out as many as you can because they will eventually knock you off your bike. Once they do, take them all out.
  2. With them all dead, head to the exclamation point by home plate. Head down the underground tunnel, save your game and pick up all of the items in the chests before going on to meet this chick.
  3. For being the No.2 assassin, “Bad Girl” is pretty weak. Her attacks are slow and predictable and the only other threat you have to worry about is when she sends those scary looking dominatrix-looking guys to attack you.
  4. The only other thing you have to worry about is when you bat catches on fire once her health is almost gone. This will once again make for an unnecessary long boss fight, but it will be one of your easiest.
  5. Once back at the apartment, sign the invoice and finish your last round of meaningless jobs. Head for the “$” icon on your map after you have enough cash, then head back to your apartment. After Travis checks his messages, head back outside and…that’s right, you just got jacked!
  6. So now you’ll have to head to the “I” icon by foot.

Dark Star

  1. As you make your way down the first part of the highway you’ll have to dodge boxes. When the road starts to narrow, you will need to pop a wheelie when you come across the fallen tree branches.
  2. When you start to see red lasers, swerve back and forth out of the line to avoid the laser blast that will be coming shortly after. The next part is tricky. Once you come to the bridge, press and hold X as soon as the speedometer comes on the screen. Then hit L2 the four times it pops up. If you don’t hit it as soon as it pops up, you won’t get enough speed and will crash.
  3. Turn around and get the item from the chest along the wall, then pick up the health and go in the direction that the creepy guy points you in. Kill the attacking enemies down the path and continue to follow the directions of the creepster dude.
  4. Following Travis’ phone conversation, continue down the path and grab all of the items from the chests once you spot them, save your game and go head for the exclamation point in front of the gates.
  5. Following the humorous cutscene where you learn that you aren’t going to be fighting the dude in the snakeskin boots, but rather, this chick named Jeane, get ready for the final battle.
  6. You’ll soon find out that Jeane is by far the quickest boss in the game. This will make it hard to get a swipe in on her, let alone a combo. As quick as she is, she doesn’t have any weapons, so you won’t have to worry about that.
  7. As you slowly start to take away more and more of her life, she will begin to make the the fighting area smaller. Continue to berate her with combo attacks after she finishes off her own combos and she should be done in no time.
  8. After you defeat her, you’ll have the option of choosing “Ending,” which will involve a bizarre cutscene with Travis on the toilet, or “True Ending,” where you will have to fight that dude from before named Henry. Have fun choosing…
