Minecraft 1.9 Update Got Released

The preview builds of the Minecraft Update version 1.9, snapshot 15w43a and 15w43b, have been released and they come with many new features that many Minecraft fans will enjoy.

The snapshot 15w43a comes with new features that are worth mentioning, such as the data-driven loot tablet or the new caption system. Unfortunately, an official release date of the Minecraft update 1.9 hasn’t been specified, but according to rumors, this update will be released sometime before the end of this year.

Snapshot 15w43a Changes

– The debug menu has been improved (the shift-f3 and alt-f3 functions are labeled in the debug screen, the F3+Q function will bring the F3 key bindings in the chat, most of the key bindings will print to chat when toggled);
– The amount of strongholds has been increased;
– New generated structure loot has been added;
– Fixed some bugs that caused some Korean, Japanese and Chinese characters to not work;
– Loot files apply per world;
– New sound events (over 150);
– By using the /gamemode command, you will see which gamemode you’re switching to;
– The travel portal travel sound missing has been fixed.

Snapshot 15w43b Changes

– The basement walls are now less uniform in igloos;
– A bug that was causing the players to get disconnected from the servers has been fixed;
– Custom loot tablets have been fixed;
– The rabbits that were not dropping the rabbit foot item have been fixed;
– A bug that was causing the language selection screen to be empty has been fixed.

It seems that Mojang is trying to fix all the major and minor issues found in the Minecraft game. When the final Minecraft Update version 1.9 will be released, we’re sure that it will make a lot of Minecraft fans happy.
