If you need to earn more credits quickly, don’t bother directly spending your Imperial Bux to earn credits. Instead, use your Imperial Bux to purchase some other special, such as a VIP to instantly sell a long tail product, or a speed up to directly sell that same long tail product. Bux will earn you 250 credits apiece, but buying a speed up can earn you thousands and thousands of credits for far less of your Imperial Bux.

If a VIP shows up to your elevator, but you don’t have any immediate sales that you feel are worth using them on, save them. You can save up to five VIPs at a time. Save them until you have a product for sale that takes a very long time to sell, or until you have multiple products for sale at a certain shop. Then send them to that floor.

Imperial floors can be a great way to earn quick credits, as long as you are lucky enough to get supply officers coming to you through the elevator frequently. All imperial floors require you to send a supply officer. They will go to that floor and produce a certain object when they are there, such as rebel secrets or secret codes. When you earn the required amount of said object, you will be able to trade it in for a large credit bonus.

Try to always keep at least one space open in each of your residential floors. Species appear all the time in the elevator, but if they want to go to a housing floor and the housing floor turns out to be full, then you won’t unlock that species. Having open spaces in your residential units will allow you to add new species to your collection far more quickly.

If you get a new resident and their score is low for all different types of jobs, simply evict them and start over. Residents appear so frequently in the elevator that you don’t need to keep any poor performers are around, because you will never really have a shortage, as long as you are checking The elevator frequently.

Specific characters from the Star Wars universe can be added to your Death Star immediately by going to the store, going to the bitizens tab, and purchasing them one at a time. Each one of them costs Imperial Bux to purchase, though, and these same specific characters will show up for free in the elevator, if you would rather spend time than money.
