Hearthstone Guide: Basic Warlock Deck

Welcome to the Warlock's lair! This deck allows you to make progress with a class that is difficult to master because you need to evaluate the pros and cons of the cards to do the right thing at the right time! You can easily aggress your opponent with your little cards and ensure a good late game with your neutral creatures!

The Key Cards

This deck includes some good cards to clear the board, some little cards to make a dent in your opponent's health points, and some great big neutral creatures to ensure a good late.

• Soulfire

A basic card, but one that deals 4 damage for 0 mana, for the price of one card. This card is useful for killing off a taunt that is stopping you from getting to your opponent's health points! You can also finish off your opponent with this card! The worst case scenario is having two of this card in your hand, so you shouldn't necessarily wait to use it!

• Voidwalker

A 1/3 card with a taunt for a single mana point? What more could you want! This card is an excellent turn 1 because it will be very difficult to kill off in the first turns and will ensure protection for your future monsters. Its weak cost also allows you to use it to control an enemy creatures later in the game!

Shadow Bolt

A simple removal, but an effective one, 4 damage points on a creature for 3 mana. Something to help you kill the mid game creatures without trouble while you can still play another little creature behind it so that you don't lose control of the board!

• Hellfire

The Warlock's AOE, 3 damage points to ALL characters: perfect for clearing a table full of Murlocks, for example, but be careful, you will also deal damage to your own table and your health points. You need to use it when you are completely overwhelmed by the enemy table! Make sure not to do too much damage to your own table!

The Full Deck

The rest of the deck is made up of decent basic cards and 'draw' cards like the Gnomish Inventor or Novice Engineer!

You also have the usual Chillwind Yeti and Boulderfist Ogre!
