In-game, the FAMAS is a fairly powerful automatic and 3-round burst assault rifle available exclusively to the Counter-Terrorists. Although the economically friendly FAMAS is usually discarded in later rounds for more powerful weapons such as the M4A4 & M4A1-S. Some players still prefer the FAMAS due to its accuracy in burst fire mode in long range and easy headshot
