Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain has a variety of different outfits to unlock for the various characters and one of them is the Cyborg Ninja outfit. Big Boss can use the outfit of Gray Fox as seen in Metal Gear Solid 1 in all of its retro glory, and it has its own special features as well.
In order to unlock this special outfit, you first need to level up your research and development team on the Mother Base to Level 40. After fulfilling this criteria, you need to obtain the key item called Grand Master Certificate (Standard). Once you have meet both of these requirements, you will be able to develop this special suit for a grand total of 460,000 GMP currency.
This special outfit also grants Big Boss with an increased sprinting speed and jumping distance, which is 30% more than normal. Check out this outfit in action in the screenshot below.
