Guide Yorick League of Legends S6

Unholy Covenant

(Innate): Yorick takes 5% less damage and his autoattacks deal 5% more damage for each summon that is active. Meanwhile, Yorick's ghouls have 35% of Yorick's Attack Damage and Health.

Tips :

More resistance and more damage.

   More ghouls for more pleasure
This passive lets Yorick be more tanky and also makes it interesting to take items to reduce the cooldown because this will let Yorick spam his ghouls!

This passive works for all his ghouls including the ultimate.

Omen of War (Q)

(Active): Yorick enhances his next autoattack, in the next 10 seconds, to deal bonus physical damage. This enhanced attack summons a Spectral Ghoul once it hits. This ability resets the autoattack timer.

The Spectral Ghoul deals more damage and moves faster than the rest of the ghouls. While the ghoul is active, Yorick moves faster as well.

  • Cost: 40 mana
Tips :

Yorick strikes his target by summoning a ghoul.

Some burst, movespeed and damage.

   The speed ghoul
This ability resets the attack timer so it is advised that you use it after a base attack in order to max Yorick's damage.

This ghoul is very useful for increasing Yorick's mobility.

It's the base ghoul which has the strongest attack, you mustn't ignore the damage from this one.

The ghoul will focus the same target as Yorick, if the target dies then it will focus the one closest, if there is no champion it wil hit the closest enemy target.

    Cooldown: 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 / 5 seconds

    Total Physical Damage: 30 / 60 / 90 / 120 / 150 (+1.2 per attack damage)

    Ghoul Extra Attack Damage: 8 / 16 / 24 / 32 / 40

    Bonus Movement Speed: 15 / 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 %

Omen of Pestilence (W)

(Active): Yorick summons a Decaying Ghoul that arrives with a violent explosion, dealing magic damage and slowing nearby enemies for 1.5 seconds. While the Decaying Ghoul remains alive, nearby enemies continue to be slowed.

  • Cooldown: 12 seconds
  • Range: 600
  • Diameter of AoE: 200
  • Diameter of ongoing slow: 125
Tips :

Yorick creates a ghoul in the target zone.

Slow your target and a zone burst.

   The slow ghoul

The ghouls give vision so it is possible to make this ghoul appear in the zone you want without verifying if the enemy is there.

This ghoul can be created anywhere, except for skillshots that touch the ghoul, so it is possible to avoid Morgana's cage, or Blitzcrank's grab, if you can create the ghoul at the right moment.

The slow linked to this ghoul helps Yorick prevent his targets from escaping.

The initial slow is twice as intense as the continued slow.

When your opponent tries to lose aggro from your Ravenous Ghoul (E) by going into a bush it is possible to create vision, if you time it well, with your Decaying Ghoul and deal max damage at your target who will still be attacked. This prevents your target from escaping your ganks easily.

    Cost: 40 / 45 / 50 / 55 / 60 mana

    Magic Damage: 60 / 95 / 130 / 165 / 200 (+1.0 per ability power)

    Initial Slow: 20 / 25 / 30 / 35 / 40 %

    Ghoul Ongoing Slow: 10 / 12.5 / 15 / 17.5 / 20 %

Omen of Famine (E)

(Active): Yorick deals magic damage and heals for 40% of the damage dealt. A Ravenous Ghoul is summoned behind his target for up to 5 seconds, healing Yorick for the damage it deals. The healing effect is halved against minions.

  • Range: 550
Tips :

Yorick creates a ghoul on the target..

A heal!

   The healing ghoul
Lets Yorick heal himself in the lane phase and harass at the same time.

This ghoul lets Yorick out-sustain his opponents and make them return to their base.

Yorick must have full or almost full life as much as possible in the lane phase.

The ghoul attacks let Yorick recover 35% of his physical damage, no matter what his damage reduction.

    Cost: 55 / 60 / 65 / 70 / 75 mana

    Cooldown: 10 / 9 / 8 / 7 / 6 seconds

    Magic Damage: 55 / 85 / 115 / 145 / 175 (+1.0 per bonus attack damage)

Omen of Death (R)

(Active): Yorick conjures a revenant in the image of one of his allies that will have a percentage of their max health and attack damage. The revenant lasts for up to 10 seconds. If his ally dies while their revenant is alive, the revenant sacrifices itself to reanimate them temporarily by restoring them to full health and giving them time to enact vengeance. The reanimation will last for up to 10 seconds. During this time, the ally can use all of their abilities.

  • Cost: 100 mana
  • Range: 900
Tips :

Yorick creates a clone of himself or a teammate.

A clone who can reanimate a teammate for 10 seconds.

   Vengeance!
When the allied champion has been reanimated he takes control of the revenant. He can no longer use his summoner's spells but he can use his standard spells.

An excellent ultimate to change a teamfight by by reanimating with a lot of DPS who died too early in the combat. If you time it well the Revenant can deal a lot of damage for a few seconds before reanimating the dead allied champion for another 10 seconds.

When you die during a gank and one of your opponents is about to die your ultimate will let you finish him by reanimating you.

You must be careful, your opponents know that the Revenant clone of the allied champion will die in 10 seconds, so they might escape.

The clone is weaker than the real champion, so opponents can kill it with zone damage. Also, when the player dies, he will revive in the clone's position!

Yorick strikes his target by summoning a ghoul.

    Cooldown: 120 / 105 / 90 seconds

    Health Percentage: 50% / 75% / 100%

    Damage Percentage: 45% / 60% / 75%

Pros

Quite easy to play.

Powerful in the lane phase with a lot of harass and sustain.

His passive makes him a very tanky champion.

The ghouls push the lane quickly.

The ultimate lets your revive AD carryto deal maximum damage.

The many ghouls let you tank skillshots in both teamfights and the lane phase.

It is possible to use the W ghoul to avoid a grab, like Blitzcrank's, if you are reactive enough.

Cons

Quite a limited gameplay.

The ultimate requires a bit of micro.

No escape, and a simple slow to get away, so he is very exposed to ganks from the jungler.
