Mobile Strike guide - Beginners tips to help you fortify your base

Arnold Schwarzenegger is back - and no, I'm not talking about the new Terminator movie. I'm referring to the brand new mobile game by the developer behind the behemoth Game of War.

It's called Mobile Strike and it's, essentially, Game of War set in the modern day. That means you'll still be building a base, hiring soldiers, and decimating all foes in your path.

The difference is that the swords, bows, and magic of Game of War will be replaced with guns, artillery, and air strikes.

To help you set up your base in Mobile Strike, we've come up with this handy list of general tips to get you started.

Focus on your missions

Once you've completed the tutorial you may be left wondering where to go next as the amount of content on offer can be overwhelming.

Well, that's easy - head on over to the missions screen where you'll be met with a number of different recommended next steps.

The 'Build' section is the most vital early on, as you can complete a number of different upgrades and building requests in a matter of seconds.

Just don't ignore the other sections and prioritise all training, research, and manufacturing in the recommended order.

Do yourdailies

Don't neglect your daily, alliance, or VIP missions either. You merely have to start one of these as soon as they're available and, in a matter of minutes, you'll be rewarded with resources and commander XP.

Pro-tip: don't forget to go back to these sections to collect your reward when you've completed either a daily or general mission.

Collect those resources

It's never mentioned (or recommended in the missions section) but you can build as many resource buildings as you'd like from the get-go.

There's no reason why you shouldn't build as many as you can afford. It will give you much more resources in the long run and will help you to complete rate missions much faster for bonus rewards.

We'd recommend that you build an even number of each so you don't accidentally neglect a vital resource, and that you make sure your warehouse has the capacity to meet demand.

Finally, you can build a gold mine to invite friends to play Mobile Strike with you for a cash reward.
