Battle Camp Cheats & Hack for Coins, Gold, Stones & Energy

Does the icon of this game reminds you of anything? I don’t know about you guys but it reminds me of Pokéballs and it’s just not the icon which gives resembles but the overall this game does. If you are a person who loves the idea of these fictional creatures and ‘match-three’ games, where you have to match three or more gems, then you might not need to look somewhere else because with 4/5 stars rating on Google Play Store and almost fifty million downloads on both iOS App Store and Google Play Store, this game has made a mark, which makes it one the most praised games and could be the one you are looking for. All this success but it doesn’t means that it’s without its flaws. Instead, the point is can you ignore flaws for the of ‘rest’ experience it provides?

Battle Camp is an action based, filled with cuteness, match-three Role-Playing-Game developed by PennyPop. No doubt, all the App Stores might be saturated with the games falling into this category but Battle Camp does try to stand out of them, to provide a bit different taste. How many of you remember the story of Pokémon? As a reminder it is about a boy, a young Pokémon trainer, who is looking to bury his feet as the best Pokémon trainer of the world. He must save people by defeating and capturing the most dangerous Pokémon, gather all the badges from different corners of the world to enter Pokémon champion’s league. Now replace the word Pokémon with monster and trainer with ranger and it will become the story of Battle Camp with a little exception that you can go into champion’s league (online Player vs. Player mode) without collecting all badges.

There are over nine hundred monsters, to capture from and build a five-monster squad. There are also five different elements in the game, fire, water, leaf, wind and stone. All monsters of your fighting squad can be from all these different elements or even the same. You will use your squad of cute monsters to defeat other monsters and challenge rangers. Battles in Battle Camp are turn based and uses a 6×5 grid with six different colored gems, five of them representing each of elements and last one is for health. Matching three or more gems of same color will either give health or make the monster, one belonging to that color’s element, attack your opponent.

As previously mentioned, there are both Singleplayer and Multiplayer, Player vs. Player (PvP), modes. In Single Player mode you have to prove yourself as the best trainer by collecting badges from different areas. The game map is divided into seven different areas, with each having different goals and their own Ranger, which will be the head. Goals will range from finding out and capturing monsters, defeating boss monsters till a duel with the area Ranger to get the badge. There are two types of currency in Battle Camp, stones and gold, and you are not going to get later one in huge lumps. After every battle you will get experience points (XP) and stones with the possibility of eggs and/or puzzle piece. While puzzle piece being something which will go directly in your inventory, you will hatch the eggs in a slot machine type manner to get monsters. This game also uses energy system. Initially, there are five energy bars and it takes ten minutes to regenerate one. Different Battles will consume energy differently, one for small battles and the boss fights can take up to five. Like almost every other game you can purchase energy using gold coins if you cannot wait.

The most annoying part of the game is the login system. Battle Camp uses Google Play Games, Facebook and even offline mode. Although using one of online methods can save your game data avoiding any untimely loss but shouldn’t it be user’s choice? This game continuously forces you to uses online method, even lies that your game won’t be saved offline. Battle Camp, at least for me, was painfully slow to start and register online. I had to try several different names and wait for minutes for each try. It also features achievements and there are a total of fifty-one achievements waiting for you to unlock them, hence free experience points.

You will start game with a battle to save a girl from her Rapscorch, a monster, who gets crazy at bath times. Saving her is basically the how-to-play tutorial of the game. As already mentioned, you’ll slide the gems matching them. You can slide these gems freely anywhere, you can move many gems while making different combos which gives additional attacking power. There is also a health bar to watch for, if you’re low on health you can always match some heart shaped gems. Health bar’s value is the summation of all of your monsters’ health. Matching five tiles of same color will make your monster attack all of your opponent’s. As the monsters are of different elements they have few advantages over each other, i.e. water beats fire, while fire beats leaf etc.. Each of your monster has Attack, Health, Recovery and feed value. Few of the monsters also have special, active and/or passive, abilities.

These monsters also belongs to different classes which are common, uncommon, special, rare, super, ultra and epic. The arrangement indicates the ease of occurrence. The commons are most easy to get and makes epic ones extremely difficult.

Common Monsters: These can be found everywhere, their maximum level is twenty. Except the few starting levels, they aren’t used for battle. Evolution isn’t possible, their sole purpose remains to level up other monsters by feeding.

Uncommon Monsters: These monsters are stronger than common monsters, their maximum level is also twenty. They also cannot evolve.

Special Monsters: These monsters’ main purpose isn’t battling. They gives special bonuses when used for feeding and evolving other monsters. Their maximum level can reach up to fifty.

Rare Monsters: Other than grab, these monsters requires several puzzles pieces to collect in order to obtain them. You will get these pieces by defeating that monster in battle. These monsters can be evolved and has both special abilities which can varying even within same monsters. The maximum level can reach fifty if evolved.

Super Monsters: The method to obtain these monsters are same as of rare monsters except that the piece of puzzles becomes rare to obtain. They require six puzzle pieces. Maximum evolved level is sixty.

Ultra and Epic Monsters: These are most powerful monster while the latter being even more. They can only be obtained through grabs.

If you cannot get your hand over ultra and epic monsters you can feed and evolve your rare monsters to help you in your goals. In feeding, monsters are consumed up or sacrificed to increase the level of another monster by giving experience points. The gain in experience level depends upon the level and type of monster being consumed. For feeding, stones are required which again depends upon the level of monster being consumed. Although, mostly common monsters are used but Special monsters play major role here by giving XP double or triple times of their original XP.

In evolution, rare and higher class monsters can only be evolved. Minimum level required for evolution is dependent upon the rarity and level decreases to one after evolution. For evolution you will require another monster of same element with few additional Special monsters. These additional monsters gives evolution bonus to the new evolved one.

As I have told earlier that there’s also a PvP mode. There are online battle events, where you’ll compete with several players. An event lasts for few days and has its own leaderboards. You have to be a part of a troop to join, you can either choose and existing or create your own. Rankings are different for an individual and whole troop. Prizes too are separate and are given to ranges i.e. a rare monster for top five positions.

In store you have different grabs, simply packs. Event grab and Ultimate grab will take fifty gold coins and gives a monster in each spin whose class can lie between super and epic. Within store you will also find cash shop, where you can Gold, Stones, Energy and Arena Energy. Gold section is the in-app-purchase section of the game, here you can get fifty gold coins for $4.99, one hundred-four gold coins for $9.99, $19.99 will give you two hundred-four gold coins and it is the most popular pack, you can get five hundred eighty-one gold coins for $49.99 and the last and most expensive will give you one thousand two hundred-fifty coins for massive $99.99. You can also get free gold by completing surveys and watching videos. Once you have gold, you can purchase Stones, Energy and Arena Energy using them. You can even ask your friends for energy.

Latest version of Battle Camp is 3.1.3 which requires android 3.0 (honeycomb) or iOS 6.0 powered devices, making it available to the majority. Battle Camp also requires internet connection to play. Despite having a size of almost hundred megabytes, this game will download content continuously. Data usage may or may not be an issue but the waiting time becomes a real pain to deal with.

Game has a lot of avatar customization, from avatar’s gender till his hair and jacket you can customize almost everything. There are daily free giveaways to keep you attracted which can include from free stones till energy bars. Your first in-app purchase will give you bonuses. You can send and receive gifts from your friends. You can take pictures from within the game and send or share them on your wall.

Although this game features time dependent energy system but the time is synced with the server instead of your device, hence the most common device time changing trick doesn’t work.

Another bad news is that, although there are modified version of Battle Camp available which gives your unlimited gold but the developers keep updating the game constantly and game doesn’t run without the updated version hence modified versions will not do the job too. So, all we can provide you with tips.

First of all try to keep those monsters in your squad which have the same zodiac signs. Having same sign activates the passive ability of monsters.

If your monster has Active ability you can double tap on monster to activate that ability.

If you want to attack a specific one you can press that monster and a cursor will appear.

Before feeding your monsters, google the feeding guide and XP table, use them to calculate the most effective way of levelling up your monsters.

If you use five uncommon of save element to level up another uncommon; will get its level raised to up to twenty with minimal stones utilized.

If the element of monster being fed is same as the monster being used you will get thirty percent more XP.

Battle Camp Review

Battle camp, if the flaws ignored, is very interesting game. The User Interface is decently held together. The graphics and all the animations are extremely well designed and smooth giving it clean cartoony look. Few monsters are cute and few looks dangerous but all of them are superbly made, and if you are a Pokémon or Digimon fan you will like them. The game is easy to install but not to configure. You will get hold of the controls in no-time but making multiple combos will require more than some practice. The map looks attractive and interface provides easy method to move around quickly. Another place where this game excels is the sound department. The background soundtrack is smooth and continuous, which makes it hard to notice the starting point hence will not appear repetitive. The noises made by the creatures are too something to write about and leaves good impression. In addition to these I also liked humor the game has i.e. you can move gems across it’s isn’t candy crush and the monster text that you read before battle adds a fun factor too.

We have talked about good points too much let’s go into the lacking department. First of all the game is not at all easy to configure and set up. The complimentary signing into different social network, irritating prompt, and few things will plead you to try them out and they will not go away with a single press. The gold are way too rare to obtain, even if you gather enough to get a spin, the chances that you will get an epic are small like the edge of a needle. We would have loved if there was a possibility to play this game offline without the need of sitting near Wi-Fi all the time. This requirement of internet connection slows the game who is already plagued by the presence of energy bars, which take ages to recharge. Did I mention about push notifications which can never be turned off and constantly gives you reminders of irrelevant things?

As a fan of these fictional creatures I did enjoyed the game but only for a limited amount of time. Although the multiplayer system and all the monster collection and evolving stuff attracted me too much!!! But the useless notification system, slow game, energy bar forced me to stay away from this game. Above all developers should be ashamed of giving the option to complete surveys and tasks to get gold. I’m still amazed there are people playing and addicted to this game with these issues. The developers should give a thought to how much this game might succeed if they remove these issues.

Let’s add few more to the list. Developers could have used the email IDs as username but no, they didn’t, there are hundreds of people having issue in getting a username. One can easily judge the issue with game’s online system that you are always set up against an unmatched player which will have low or higher PR than yours!! Why not the same?

Ratings

Artwork: I’ll give Battle Camp an 8.5/10 here. it’s one of the two places which aren’t borrowed/copied and the game excels. The artwork is something to be praised. Animations are extremely smooth, the modern well detailed cartoonish monsters coupled with perfect mixture of bright colors makes this game a joy to watch.

Music & SFX: I’ll give this game an 8/10 for the music quality it offers. This is the second impressive place. The background a nice mixture of pop and battle music. You will hear birds chirping, sound of footsteps, everything is clear and pleasant.

Story & Originality: I’ll give a 6/10 to battle camp. The story is attractive but originality is the place this game gets the set back. Whatever the story this game hold is a one ratio one clone of Pokémon. Story also lacks the background of the boy, why he wants to be the best ranger or trainer, from different monsters till their evolution everything you might know about Pokémon is here.

General Gameplay: I’ll give this game here a 6/10 again. The gameplay, despite having similarities with many other games, could have been a wonder. From sliding gems to makes beautifully animated combs till monster collection and evolution everything was so addictive, but issues like waiting for energy and rare gold coins plagued and ripped everything apart rendering the game useless.

Addictiveness: Battle Camp gets a 6/10 here. The level of addictiveness can vary from person to person, for those who can wait and bear the issues they will find it very much addictive, but people like me, who cannot tolerate these notification and other issues will do only one thing, after playing few levels they will head straight to the application management and uninstall it.

Overall I’ll give it a 7/10. This game could have been the one action match-three RPG game people are waiting for but the developers’ greed for the green paper of your pocket let it down.
