Crossy Road Tips: 3 Tricks on How to Unlock the UK Update Secret Characters

Hipster Whale’s Crossy Road is one of those casual endless jumper games that can be very addictive and fun to play. The game has more than 70 pop art-influenced characters and your goal is to keep on jumping around as you cross roads, train tracks, and rivers. And now that we’ve given you a refresher on the game’s basics, you should know that there’s now a UK-centric update with new features and new characters. But how do you unlock these characters in the UK update? Check out the following Crossy Road tips and tricks and we’ll tell you how to unlock all three of them.

1. How To Unlock The Leprechaun?

The Leprechaun is the first of the secret unlockable characters on Crossy Road – yes, that little green creature you know from Lucky Charms can be unlocked in this game. First of all, you have to be sure you’ve unlocked at least one of the other new characters so that clovers can appear when you’re playing the game. Pay attention to the number of leaves on the clovers – a three-leaf is useless, but a four-leaf will unlock the Leprechaun once your character gets killed. As you may have guessed, four-leaf clovers are a bit hard to find in the game.

2. How To Unlock Nessie?

We’re talking about the legendary Loch Ness monster here as we switch over from Ireland to Scotland. You won’t miss her as you should see her in one of the streams while playing in normal mode. Jump on her, and Nessie will be unlocked after your character dies.

3. How To Unlock The Phone Box?

The Leprechaun may be a bit hard to unlock, but no need to worry here – the Phone Box is just as easy to unlock as Nessie. Once you unlock the first character from the new update, you’ll see a phone box once your character has hit 60 points. Go near the phone box and that character will be unlocked once your character is dead.
