The main mode in FIFA World is FIFA Ultimate Team, well known to all FIFA fans, in which we create our own club using special cards and participate in tournaments and league seasons, competing with other players on-line. Remember that players who already have their own club may continue to play with it in the game. FIFA World features all of the well known aspects of the FIFA Ultimate Team mode, so players who have experience playing it will feel at home.
In this mode you climb a ladder consisting of 10 divisions and try to get as high as you can in online leaderboards. Opponents are chosen by the system on the base your victory count and the class of your team members. Every completed match, won championship, promotion or holding your position in the league earns you coins and experience points.
In this mode you face a team, which is chosen weekly by the EA Sports crew. You can choose the level of difficulty, but the higher the challenge, the greater the award. New squads appear regularly every seven days.
Here, similarly to the Online Seasons mode, you climb a 10-level division ladder, playing against teams controlled by the computer. The leagues can be real-life or a mixture of various teams. Before starting the struggle, you can check what requirements are to be completed in a given season and what bonuses will it bring.
One of the available tournamentsSingle Player Tournaments is a mode in which you participate in various tournaments and unlock more prestigious ones by completing them. The tournaments can be divided into temporary, which appear according to actual situations in leagues or championships, and permanent, which are listed below:

To make changes in the squad, you have to enter the My Club panel and choose the option Squad. Here you can swap players, set the starting eleven and the bench.
Judging by the color of the links, this team needs a lot of work on this aspectChemistry is one of the most important factors in FIFA World. It enables the players to use their skills more efficiently and to perform actions with proper cooperation. Even players who tend to play rather individually will work better if they simply understand with others on the field. The links between player cards show the level of chemistry - the lowest level is represented by red color and green color means that players work well with each other. The cooperation on the field is influenced for example by the same nationality of the players or the number of matches played together, so try to pick players who have something in common.
In the Transfer List panel we can make decisions about the fate of our playersIf we feel that we no longer need a certain player, we can easily get rid of him by placing him on the transfer list. We can do that by entering the Squad panel, clicking on the proper card and choosing the option Swap With Club. Then, in the Transfers panel, we can decide whether we want to sell the player for a certain, usually rather low, amount of coins or maybe create an auction and wait for results.
The main Transfers panelIn order to buy a player we have to enter the Transfers. In the Transfer Market tab you can describe the specifics, on the base of which the system will start searching for players for you:
- Card Level (Bronze, Silver, Gold)
- League and Club of the player
- Nationality
- Favourite Formation
- Position
Here you also state the pricing, which is the amount of coins that you can spend in the bidding as well as in the Buy Now option. After you're done, click Search. A panel with all the system's propositions appears. From here, we can start bidding or immediately buy a player, if we of course meet his financial conditions.
We can view the packs that we have in the My Packs panelPacks are the main way to obtain new players to your FIFA Ultimate Team squad. There are three colors of them:
- Bronze - contain players who have up to 64 points
- Silver - contain players with the number of points between 65 and 74
- Gold - contain players who have more than 75 points
It's no use buying gold cards at the beginning of the game, because high skilled players, combined with the ones with bronze color, will not be as efficient and the chemistry level will go down. Try to strengthen your squad step by step, advancing from bronze cards to silver cards and then consistently introducing gold card players.
Cards can be bought in the Shop or on the Transfer MarketSpecial cards allow you to increase particular attributes of the players, as well as provide some ways to make your club managing easier. We can distinguish 9 types of cards in the game:
Contract Cards
Contract Cards allow you to choose players that will stay in your team longer and play more matches. These cards apply to players as well as to managers. If the maximum number of matches of a player is reached, he will remain in the club but will not be able to play.
Fitness Cards
Fitness Cards can strengthen the stamina of the players, which enables them to play more efficiently.
Healing Cards
This type of cards can reduce the number of matches which a player must abandon(?) due to an injury.
Morale Cards
They increase the morale of the players, which makes them behave better on the field, use their skills more effectively and increases their sense of teamwork.
Applying consumables is a good way to quickly increase the attributes of a playerManager Formation Modifiers
They allow you to change the favourite formation of a given manager, which increases the chemistry in the squad.
Player Formation Modifiers
Analogically to the above type, they allow you to change the favourite formation of a given player, which makes him play better in this set up.
Player Position Modifiers
Allow you to change the favourite position of a player, but only in one line, so for example a left midfielder can become a right midfielder. It is impossible for example for a goalkeeper to become a defender.
Goalkeeper Training Cards
As the name of the card suggest, this type changes the attributes of your goalkeepers during the next match.
Player Training Cards
Similarly to the above type, this one allows you to increase the attributes of a single field player for the duration of the next match.
Staff Cards enable you to hire people that will work to increase the skills of your players and improve the functioning of the club. We can distinguish five types of such experts in the game:
- managers
- head coaches
- goalkeeper coaches
- fitness coaches
- physiotherapists
The decision about hiring a manager is a great responsibility!The presence of each one of them benefits our club. Thanks to them, the process of healing the injuries can be made faster, players can increase their fitness and some of their attributes. You should have a full range of experts in your club.

League Teams is the only mode in FIFA World which doesn't require you to create a team in the FIFA Ultimate Team mode. Here, you control a team chosen from real-life licensed teams and compete with other players through the Online Seasons mode.
The main menu of this mode consists of a few interesting panels and of information that will help you to succeed. In the center of the screen, you can see your actual position in online leagues. Here you will find information about:
- victories, draws and losses balance
- the division in which you currently are
- number of matches remaining in the season
- the number of points that you need to have in order to stay in league, advance to the next division or to achieve the championship in a given level
- your last three results
- bonuses acquired for obtaining a certain amount of points
From this panel, you can also enter the leaderboards, in which you can compare your achievements with the achievements of other players around the world. Click Play Match to go to the next panel where you can choose the team that you will be playing during the match. Players usually choose teams with 4,5 - 5 stars, because of higher skills of the football players. It is therefore good to choose clubs or national teams that have higher number of stars, as this increases your chances of winning.
Match Credits buying panel in the League Teams modeAfter playing five matches in a row, we run out of Match Credits and we can't play more. We can either wait for 4 hours (after which we'll be given one credit), or purchase them using an in-game store. We can choose from three types of Credit packs:

It can be clearly seen that the best choice is to buy 12 credits. We can therefore save 50 FIFA Points or 2500 coins.
The more the better - a simple rule when buying FIFA PointsOne of the two currencies in FIFA World are FIFA Points, for which we can buy for example Card Packs in FIFA Ultimate Team or Match Credits in League Teams. Points can be replaced by coins, but gathering them is much more time consuming and what's most important, they have less value than FIFA Points, i.e. we have to spend more of them. We can purchase FIFA Points using:

- PayPal account
- SMS
As always, it is best to buy packs with the biggest amount of points. The more we buy in one pack, the more bonus points we receive.

FIFA World has rather low requirements in the PC version. The game doesn't contain spectacular graphics, because of the fact that it's running on an engine used in FIFA games a few years ago. The PC used for the purpose of writing this game guide contained Intel Core i5-4570, 4 GB RAM, MSI Radeon HD7770, which was perfectly enough to meet the requirements. FIFA World has to be activated in the Origin platform.
