You shouldve follow the tips... - General tips - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughYou should've follow the tips...

1. Make sure that necessary works are always done on your farm. The workers that you hire often block in various places and do not complete the task they have, so you should check on them from time to time.

2. Grow mainly those plants that bring you the biggest profit (you will learn more about that in the Farms chapter).

3. Do not hesitate with investing in new machines - you earn money to spend it, and new gear will increase the comfort of working and will reduce the time of completing tasks.

4. Don't forget to spray and fertilize your field, before the plant is ready to be harvested. It will bring you double crop.

5. Sell your goods in the right moment - when the price is the highest. Sometimes it is good to wait a while until the demand grows, to receive an offer even twice as better.

6. Your machines may sometimes get stuck in some place, which will prevent them from further working. Reset it and it will appear on your farm again.

7. Some tractors may be overbalanced by the heavy gear attached to their backs. To prevent that from happening, attach a weight to the front first.

8. After learning the mechanics of the game, it will be best to play in 15x - 30x increased time. Use the maximum speed when waiting for the plants to grow.

9. In the options menu, you can change the setting and make the gameplay easier. For example, increasing the number of missions available will allow you to earn more money and switching off the plant withering will eliminate the time pressure during the harvest.

10. Always sell your machines directly at the shop. By doing so, you won't loose much time and you will receive 20% more for the gear than when selling it automatically.

11. Use the PDA. You will be able to check current prices, the status of your fields, the current position of your machines and info about animal husbandry.

12. Allow your workers to complete most of the tasks on the farm and do only the things that cannot be done by anybody else (spraying, selling the crops, etc.).

13. Try to specialize in one type of business and only then start another one. By doing so, you will have solid background to develop new branch of your farm.

14. After loading the game, you have to hire the workers again.

15. Keep track of the fuel level. Most of the vehicles have a big reserve, but it will end someday.

16. Use the TAB key frequently, to switch between machines.

Settings that can be changed during gameplay. - Settings - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughSettings that can be changed during gameplay.

You can enter the settings menu in every moment of the game. To do so, press the [ESC] key. The most important options are listed below:

Timescale - One of the most important setting. Here, you change the speed of time in the game. The minimal value is 1x. It means that one minute in the game equals one minute in real time. The highest available speed is 120x. On this setting, twenty four hours in game time equals 12 minutes in real time. It is good to use higher speed, especially when you do not have much to do and you're waiting for the plants to grow. 30x is an optimal value. Timescale can be switched by using [7] and [8] hotkeys.

Mission frequency - Here, you set the period (in real time) after which a new mission will appear. You can activate the missions through the job board.

Plant growth - here you can increase or reduce the speed of plant growth.

Plant withering - you can switch off the withering of plants that were not harvested for a long time.

Other important settings are connected to the notifications that appear in various places on the map and to the markings on it.

Buying a cutting-edge machine - quicker on easy level, more satisfying on hard level. - Difficulty level - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughBuying a cutting-edge machine - quicker on easy level, more satisfying on hard level.

Before starting the gameplay, you have to make an important decision that will influence your career as a farmer. We're talking about choosing the level of difficulty - the higher it is, the harder it will be to earn money necessary to develop the farm. It is mainly because of lower prices in stores. Besides the difference in money, the starting contents of the warehouse changes as well - from solid supply, to total emptiness. On each higher level of difficulty, your workers will receive higher payments. As you can see, a lot of aspects of the game depend on this choice, so it is good to think about it well.

Below, you can see the basic differences between the available levels of difficulty - easy, normal and hard.

Easy level will be perfect for people who want to quickly expand their farm, as you can earn money relatively fast here. Hard level however, is a great choice for players who want their money to be earned with a lot of effort, but with bigger satisfaction, and who are not afraid of slow development. There is of course the Medium level also, which will be and ideal option for most people, as earning money is not so easy here, but it is not extremely demanding and time-consuming.

No matter of what level of difficulty you choose, notice the similarities in purchase prices of the same goods - sell your crops to the buyer who offers the most in a given moment.

The interface in Farming Simulator 15 is very simple and intuitive. The [F1] key is responsible for switching on or off the displaying of tips and info about currently available actions [1]. Next important elements are the weather and the current time [3], timescale, which you should especially pay attention to [4], and also your finances [5]. In the bottom left corner, you can find the minimap, which shows your current position, along with coordinates [6]. The last important part of the interface is connected to vehicles [7]. Here, you should pay attention to the fuel gauge and the space in the container (for example in a harvester) - when it's full, you have to empty it, in order for the machine to continue working. In other machines, like for example a sprayer, you have to refill the tank when it's empty.

The starting farm is the most important place on the whole map. Here you can find your supplies, places in which you can refill fuel and your vehicles. Below, you will find a list of the most important buildings and machines that you can find on the farm.

Buildings

Grain silo. - The farm - buildings and starting machines - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughGrain silo.

Silo - a place, where you can store your grain (wheat, barley, canola and corn). You can check the current amount of each kind of grain in the warehouse tab, using the PDA [I]. In one of the parts of the building, you can load the grain onto a tipper, by placing it under a pipe sticking out of the central silo. If there's already some kind of grain on the tipper, the same kind will be added to the load. Otherwise, you can choose the kind yourself. At the other side of the silo, there is a place where you can unload the crop, if you don't want to sell it at the moment.

A place for wood chips, sugar beets and potatoes. The products are loaded behind the building. - The farm - buildings and starting machines - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughA place for wood chips, sugar beets and potatoes. The products are loaded behind the building.

Warehouse - Here you can find the rest of your products - potatoes, sugar beets and wood chips. You place them there by simply driving near the appropriate place and unloading the product. To load it on a tipper, you have to drive to the other side of the building, where the conveyor belts are. However, in the case of wood chips, you have to use a front loader.

All the necessary seeds. - The farm - buildings and starting machines - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughAll the necessary seeds.

Seeds - opposite the Warehouse, you can find bags filled with seeds. Here you can load your sowing machine, before setting out onto the field.

Fertilizer tank. - The farm - buildings and starting machines - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughFertilizer tank.

Fertilizer tank - in the corner of the square, you can find a blue tank. It is used for refilling your sprayers and fertilizer spreaders, before they start their work.

The chicken coop and a lonely rooster. - The farm - buildings and starting machines - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe chicken coop and a lonely rooster.

Chicken coop - All the new chickens that you buy end up here. Here you will also find eggs, which you should collect and sell.

Straw and hay barn. - The farm - buildings and starting machines - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughStraw and hay barn.

Straw and hay barn - if you have too much of these products, you can sell them here. In order to do that, unload the wagon inside the building and you will automatically earn money. You can sell it also in form of bales.

This small well will refill a huge water tank. - The farm - buildings and starting machines - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThis small well will refill a huge water tank.

Fountain - here you can refill water in your water tanks.

Dont forget to bring some change. - The farm - buildings and starting machines - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughDon't forget to bring some change.

Helpline - here you can learn a few important information about the mechanics of the game.

Machines

Here are all of your machines and tools. - The farm - buildings and starting machines - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughHere are all of your machines and tools.

When beginning the game, you already have all the machines needed for running a farm, but it's not a very good equipment. You possess the most basic versions from all the categories, so your work will be slow and difficult at the start. Collecting newer and better tools is one of your most important tasks. Better machines means more efficient work, which is followed by faster development of your business.

Your equipment:

- 2x H448 tractor;

- 2x AgroStar 6.61 tractor;

- Comia 6 harvester and C6 harvester;

- E8041 tipper;

- Trio 300 M cultivator;

- Vitasem 302 ADD sowing machine;

- SB 700 weight;

- Vari Master 153 plow;

- 6135 A tractor (only on the Westbridge Hills map).

In any time in the game, you can access your PDA. It is a kind of your own command center, from which you can learn a lot of useful info. To view the options available, activate your computer ([I] key as default).

This screen shows the weather forecast, the news and the financial report - PDA - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThis screen shows the weather forecast, the news and the financial report

In the first tab, you will receive information about the weather for the whole week, about finances and the news. Pay attention especially to the weather, as you won't be able to use your machines in rainy days. The news will inform you which store has announced an increase in the demand for a given product. In the finances tab, you can view all the income and outcome that influence your account.

Warehouse statues and prices in stores. - PDA - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughWarehouse statues and prices in stores.

In the next tab, you can view the status of your products, which are currently stored in the silo or the warehouse. You can also see the prices that the stores offer for certain goods and current trends. The price changes once every hour and sometimes the stores announce an increase in the demand for certain product, which is also shown in this tab. You will quickly notice that every store has a product for which he offers the highest price (for example, when selling your grain in the Windmill, you will earn the most). Before selling, you should always check who has the best offer at the moment.

All the vehicles available. - PDA - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughAll the vehicles available.

The third tab informs you about the machines and tools you have. Here you can check where the machines currently are and switch to control any vehicle. The option of resetting a vehicle/tool will automatically move the machine onto your farm. It is useful mainly when some accident happens, like for example your Piqup crashing.

The view of all the fields. - PDA - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe view of all the fields.

The next tab shows the whole map. The most important thing to see here are the fields. In this menu, you can check which fields are ready for sowing and which have already grown crops. Blue color (the darker it is, the sooner the harvest) marks those fields, which have already been sowed. Green color marks the ones that are ready to be harvested. Light blue marks the fields, from which you have to remove the leaves and red color is reserved for withered fields (you can only cultivate them now). By changing the view on the map, you can also see to what plants the status applies. Thanks to that, you can quickly decide what tools should be transported where, in order to perform all the necessary tasks.

There are two more tabs in your PDA. The fifth tab shows that status of all the animals you possess and tells you if there are any products ready to be collected (like eggs for example). This window allows you to control all the aspects connected to animal husbandry and react accordingly, by for example providing more food. The last tab shows the statistics of the gameplay - here you can view what you've accomplished so far and how much work is there still to do.

One of the factors that influences the development of your farms is the machines you have (strictly speaking - selling the old vehicles and buying new ones). This can be done in the farming shop [P].

A freshly purchased sprayer will appear on the map after resetting it. - Buying and selling machines - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughA freshly purchased sprayer will appear on the map after resetting it.

To buy a new object, you just have to select the proper category and the vehicle or implement that you're interested in. If you only have enough money, it will be automatically taken out from your account and the machine you've purchased will appear near the shop. Then, you can go to pick it up with a proper vehicle or simply reset it, to find it on your farm. You can find the reset option in your PDA [I], in the vehicles tab. Select the machine and choose Reset vehicle/tool.

Checking the selling tab often, you can encounter interesting offers. - Buying and selling machines - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughChecking the selling tab often, you can encounter interesting offers.

Sometimes you will have the chance to buy something at lower costs. You can check the current occasions in the sales tab. When something new appears in the tab, you will see its price and a comparison to normal price of the product. If you happen to find the machine that you currently need, do not hesitate too much. Paying 10% less for an expensive machine can save you a lot of money.

Selling machines is also not so easy - Buying and selling machines - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Selling machines is also not so easy. The simplest way to do that is to enter the farming shop menu, choose the appropriate machine in the Garage tab and select: Sell. However, this won't bring you much profit. It is far better to transport the machine yourself, all the way to the shop, as you will then receive 20% more money than when selling it automatically, through the menu. Go to the store and place the machine on the spot that you can see in the picture above. Then, move to the icon nearby and select the appropriate option. Doing it this way, you will earn some more on every selling transaction you make.

The list below shows all the machines available for purchasing in Farming Simulator 15. Newer models - beside the price - differ from one another mainly by the power they have, or in case of tools - by the power they need. Pay attention not to accidentally buy a weak tractor and a harvester that needs more power than you can provide.

Tractors - necessary for most of the task on the field. You can attach various tools (for example sowing machine, plow) and tippers to them. Better tools require tractors with more power.

The field buying screen informs you about the price and the area. - Growing plants - preparation, harvest and selling - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe field buying screen informs you about the price and the area.

First, you have to buy a field (remember that at the beginning of the game, you already possess 1 or 3 fields, depending on the map you choose). Buy new field only when you have enough machines (better than those that you obtain at the start). The best way is to buy land that is located close to your farm and later those fields that are farther. The situation is different if you don't want to sell crops, but you produce them for your animals. Then, the best solution is to buy a land located close to your animal farm. To buy a field, you have to go there and search for a icon in the middle of it, which will allow you to purchase the land. Before you do that, you will be informed about the price and the area.

With a wide cultivator, the work will go faster. - Growing plants - preparation, harvest and selling - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughWith a wide cultivator, the work will go faster.

The field that you buy may be ready for sowing or may require cultivating first (you will know it by the soil - look for signs of earlier harvest). Take a tractor with a cultivator attached to it and place it on the edge of the field. Newer cultivators that have wider range, have to be spread [X] and lowered first. The implement is then ready for work. You do the cultivation yourself (use cruise control) or get a worker to do it [H].

A sowing machine has to be refilled frequently. - Growing plants - preparation, harvest and selling - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughA sowing machine has to be refilled frequently.

After the cultivation, the field is ready for sowing. For this task, you will need a sowing machine of course. First, fill up the machine. You can do it near the seed bags located on your farm, or near a garden center. After doing so, go to the field that you've just cultivated. More expensive sowing machines will have wider range of sowing, so you have to set them up first. Don't forget to select the plant that you want to sow [O]. Next, start the sowing machine [B] and lower it [V]. It is now ready to work. Just like in the case of cultivation, you can do this task yourself or give it to your worker. Of course, these two machines can work on one field at the same time.

Spraying and fertilizing are task that you have to do yourself, but it is a fast and easy work and of course increases the crop amount. - Growing plants - preparation, harvest and selling - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughSpraying and fertilizing are task that you have to do yourself, but it is a fast and easy work and of course increases the crop amount.

After sowing, it is time for fertilizing. You will need a sprayer or a fertilizer spreader. First, you have to fill the machine up. Just like in the case of sowing machine, you can do it either on your farm or near a garden center. When you're ready, go to the field. Place the machine in the proper position (not on the edge of the field, as the sprayer has wider range). Try to cover as much area as you can. Set up the sprayer, lower it and start the machine. You have to do this task yourself, because there's no option of giving it to a worker. When you finish, switch the tool off to not waste the load, turn around and drive through the field once again, switching on the sprayer when near the other side. Thanks to the wide range, spraying large fields won't take you much time. Remember that you can attach a special tank to the front of the tractor, which increases the capacity of the sprayer, enabling it to work longer without refilling.

Removing leaves is a time-consuming task and it cannot be given to your workers. - Growing plants - preparation, harvest and selling - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughRemoving leaves is a time-consuming task and it cannot be given to your workers.

If you've sown the seeds, you now have to wait for them to grow. As for sugar beets and potatoes, before you harvest them, you will have to remove leaves first. You can check if the moment is right using your PDA [I] - the field, which needs this task to be performed will turn light blue on the map. To complete this work, you will need leaves and harvests the crop at the same time). You cannot leave these task to your worker. Only after buying a self-propelled harvester, such option will appear (it costs 479000$).

Harvesting at the beginning of the game is very slow. - Growing plants - preparation, harvest and selling - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughHarvesting at the beginning of the game is very slow.

At the very end, it is time for harvesting the crop. As for the grain, you don't have to remove leaves, so after the field has been sprayed, you just have to wait for the plants to grow. To harvest the grain, you need a harvester and a header of an appropriate model. Just like during other tasks, you first have to start the machine and then begin to harvest. This task can be given to a worker, allowing you to drive a tractor with a trailer at the same time, next to the harvester, which will prevent it from overloading too quickly (it is important especially at the beginning of the game, when the machine has a rather small container). When the container is full, the worker will stop his task, so check on the harvester from time to time.

A short break for unloading the container. - Growing plants - preparation, harvest and selling - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughA short break for unloading the container.

Unload the crop from the container onto the trailer. You can do it constantly by driving the tractor next to the harvester all the time. You can also wait until the harvester is full and perform the unloading to the trailer yourself [O]. Now, you have two options (if you don't need the crop for feeding the animals) - you can either store the crop or go to a place where you can sell it. No matter of which option you choose, try to always have a full trailer.

Unloading the crop in a store. - Growing plants - preparation, harvest and selling - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughUnloading the crop in a store.

Either in a store or in your warehouse, you unload the crop the same way, by driving to the proper place and pressing the key responsible for unloading [O]. When selling, pay attention to the prices - the differences are sometimes very large and can be felt even with a small amount of product. When the price doesn't satisfy you, don't hesitate and keep the product for a while - you will sell it when the price gets higher or some store announces increased demand, which will earn you more money. This way you end the long process of cultivating land.

In short

Darker soil means that the place was sprayer/fertilized and will bring bigger crop. - Growing plants - preparation, harvest and selling - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughDarker soil means that the place was sprayer/fertilized and will bring bigger crop.

- Remember about the order of doing the tasks on the field. First, you need a cultivator to work on it (the exception here are fields that you purchase ready for sowing). Next, you use a sowing machine and when it completes the task - you use a sprayer or a fertilizer spreader. In the case of sugar beets and potatoes, before harvesting, you have to remove the leaves and in the case of grain - just wait for the crop.

- Your workers may sometimes get blocked on some tree or a trailer left too close to the field. Check on them from time to time.

- It is best to start your work along the longer edge of the field - this way you will be turning around less frequently.

- Two or three machines can work on the same field at the same time. However, remember about keeping distance and the differences in the working speed.

- If you perform some task yourself, try to always drive in a straight line and not leave too many empty spaces.

- Some tasks can be made quicker when having the right tool, like for example a sowing machine that doesn't need the land to be cultivated first or a self-propelled harvester that removes leaves and harvests sugar beets/potatoes at the same time.

- If you have two tanks in your sprayer, you can refill the both. Simply change the tool [G] and start the refilling again.

- When you get a worker to sow the field, seeds won't be taken out from the bags - they are included in the costs of hiring the worker.

You will find a plow somewhere on your farm. - Joining fields - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughYou will find a plow somewhere on your farm.

At some stage of the gameplay, you will have a lot of fields. Every one requires at least minimum attention from you, mainly when it comes to transporting a proper machine onto it and hiring a worker. Joining smaller fields into one larger is a useful option here. By doing so, one worker will complete his task on both fields. Joining is very simple - all you need is a plow.

Plowing a way between two fields. - Joining fields - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughPlowing a way between two fields.

First, you have to drive a tractor with a plow between the fields that you want to join. Next, lower the plow and press the [O] key. Then, plow the fragments between fields.

Cultivating in the night, so the neighbor would become green with envy tomorrow. - Joining fields - Basics - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughCultivating in the night, so the neighbor would become green with envy tomorrow.

After successfully plowing the empty spaces between two fields, you have to use a cultivator. After doing so, the two fields will be treated as one by your workers. Thanks to that, they won't stop performing their task until they finish on both the fields.

The main reason to join fields is because of the workers - they will require less attention, which will allow you to perform other activities. One larger piece of land is more convenient to cultivate than two smaller. Joining is neither difficult nor time-consuming, so you should take advantage of this option. Especially on the Bjornholm map, where most of the fields are rather small.

The list below describes all the machines available in Farming Simulator 15. The difference between various models, beside the price, is also their power, or, in the case of implements, the power that they require to be used. Therefore, pay attention to that, not to accidentally buy a too weak tractor or a header that won't fit harvester.

They are used for harvesting a given type of plant. Remember that every harvester has to have a header attached, appropriate to its model.

You know a farmer by how he ends, not by how he begins. However, you cannot disregard the start - if you begin properly, it will be easier for you to accomplish your goals. Properly managing the machines and the fields, selling with large profits and growing the most viable plants is the key to success.

A well-prospering farm. - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughA well-prospering farm.

Let's take the map Bjornholm to serve as an example for describing the strategy. When playing Westbridge Hills, the situation at the beginning is a bit different (for example - one big field instead of three smaller), but the development strategy is rather similar. Some tips will not be of use when playing on high level of difficulty (empty warehouse, limited loan value) - you will have to sell more products. The strategy of development described below is not the only one possible and you can have different machines on various stages of the game, having bought something earlier or not having done so. However, generally it is advisable to follow the order suggested here, as it will ensure a stable growth.

You start the game with three fields - two of them are located close to your farm. Each field is in a different state - on one of them, you will find ripened crops, the second one is waiting for sowing and the third one needs cultivating. Fortunately, you have all the necessary equipment, so get to work!

The biggest field, no. 38, requires cultivating. - Sowing, cultivation, harvest - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe biggest field, no. 38, requires cultivating.

Switch to the tractor located near the field no. 38. Attach a cultivator and hire a worker. Next, switch to the machine on your farm, near the sowing machine. Attach it to a tractor and refill it (it costs about 360$). Go to field no. 24 and start sowing (wheat or barley). Here, you should also hire a worker, as the tank in the machine won't be emptied. On the last field, you have to harvest the crop. Use the harvester located nearby - as you don't have much to do at the moment, you can perform the task yourself, instead of hiring a worker.

First harvest. - Sowing, cultivation, harvest - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughFirst harvest.

Attach a header to the harvester and lower it. Remember to drive in a straight line and harvest as much crop as you can every time. When you set the machine in the right place, you can switch on the cruise control. When on the other side of the field, turn around and repeat the task. After the container is full, drive to the trailer nearby and unload the grain. If you've decide to hire a worker, you can help him by driving a tractor next the harvester, which will allow you to collect the crops onto the trailer and the worker won't have to stop.

When hiring a worker to harvest the crop for you, you can load it on a trailer at the same time. - Sowing, cultivation, harvest - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughWhen hiring a worker to harvest the crop for you, you can load it on a trailer at the same time.

When doing things in the order described above, you will have all the necessary task completed on all three fields. Now you only have to wait for the planets to grow.

After the harvester finishes harvesting, unload its container and the trailer. As you will probably notice, it won't be full, because there wasn't enough crop. Before setting out to sell the product, you should take some of the supplies from your warehouse (depending on the level of difficulty) and go to the store with a fully loaded trailer. Place the harvester on the nearest field, as you will need it there in the nearest future.

Loading up the trailer is only possible when you have enough supplies in your silo (it will be empty on high level of difficulty). - Selling the crop and further gameplay - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughLoading up the trailer is only possible when you have enough supplies in your silo (it will be empty on high level of difficulty).

To use the supplies from the silo, you have to drive to it. It is located on the farm, close to the field which you've just harvested. Place the tractor in front of the silo and press the key responsible for loading [R]. With a full trailer, you can go to the store, but you should also check the current prices before you set out. You will earn the most in the Windmill or the Grain elevator. Notice that a 20$ - 25$ difference for a ton, will give you about 200$ more. At the beginning, it may seem as small amount, but when selling larger crop, the sum will be of course much bigger.

It is best to sell your grain in the Grain elevator. - Selling the crop and further gameplay - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughIt is best to sell your grain in the Grain elevator.

No matter of what purchase point you choose, the selling looks the same. You have to drive the tractor onto a special spot, where you can unload it. After a short while, all the grain will be moved to a container and the money will appear on your account (on normal level of difficulty, it will be about 5600$). Not bad, and it's only the beginning. Take the tractor with the trailer and return to field no. 24, when the sowing machine will probably have completed its task.

Waiting for another harvest... - Selling the crop and further gameplay - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughWaiting for another harvest...

When the sowing process ends on field 24, speed up the time to the maximum value, so you won't have to wait long for the crop. Then, perform an exchange - Send the tractor with the sowing machine onto field no. 38 and get the cultivator (as soon as it completes its work) to work on field no. 29. In the meantime, you should see some crops on field no. 24, so begin to harvest it right away and also remember to slow down the time.

The cultivator should finish its work first, so send it onto field no. 24 and get it to work there. Next, sell the crop and get the harvester ready near field no. 38. When waiting for the plants to grow, consider buying some new equipment.

A sprayer may be a big expenditure at the beginning. - Buying a sprayer - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughA sprayer may be a big expenditure at the beginning.

There's however one problem - the sprayer, as this is the machine you should buy now, costs 29000$ and you - as for now - don't have such money. Nevertheless, it is a machine that is necessary for the development of your farm, as you will earn twice as much on sprayed plants. This investment will pay back very fast and you can obtain the money you need in several ways.

The first and the easiest way is to simply get a loan and buy the machine. If you want to save this option for later, there are other ways of getting the money.

- Selling your worst tractor - spraying the fields is very fast due to the range of the sprayer, so you can change the tractors that you use (the best option is the one with the trailer). It will allow to go on with the work in a steady pace and you will earn the money to buy sprayer. Remember to sell the machine directly at the store, as you will earn 20% more money this way. You will get 22200$, which is 3700$ more than when you would sell it through the menu. As you can see, this option is much more profitable.

- Selling the supplies - possible only on easy and normal level of difficulty. There's a high chance that an increased demand announcement will appear at the time when you need to but a sprayer. It is a great occasion for you to earn even twice as much than usually. After receiving such announcement, load the trailer and go to the appropriate store. If no store announces increased demand, you will have to sell some more or wait with purchasing the sprayer.

- Waiting for the harvest - you will earn quite a nice amount of money on the crops from field no. 38, which will be ready for harvest soon. It won't be enough to buy the sprayer, but when you additionally sell some of your supplies, it will certainly do. If you play on higher level of difficulty and don't want to sell a tractor, you have no other option than to take a loan and sell more unsprayed crops.

Before using the sprayer, you have to refill it. - Buying a sprayer - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughBefore using the sprayer, you have to refill it.

When you have enough money, but the sprayer. It will appear in front of the store, so you will have to go there with a tractor (you can also reset the sprayer, which will make it appear on your farm). To make the machine ready for working, you have to fill it up using the fertilizer tank - it costs about 600$. In the future, consider buying an extra tank attached to the front, which will allow you to work longer (the cost of the tank is about 5500$).

Spraying the field takes only a few whiles. - Buying a sprayer - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughSpraying the field takes only a few whiles.

The sprayer is ready to work now. Go to the field on which you've sowed recently (it's a good idea to join fields no. 24 and 29 into one, so they require less attention). Spread the wings of the sprayer and place it on the field in such way that you cover as much land as you can, in order to not waste the liquid in your tank. After setting up the sprayer, switch it on and start working. You have to do this task yourself, as you cannot hire a worker to do it. Fortunately, it is not a time-consuming task, thanks to the wide range. Remember to spray all the fields on which you've sowed.

After buying a sprayer, you will notice that your crops have doubled, which means that your profits are bigger now. It is a good moment to start changing the machines that you work with, which will increase the comfort of performing the necessary tasks and make them shorter.

The new trailer can load almost three times as much crop as the previous one. - Changing your equipment - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe new trailer can load almost three times as much crop as the previous one.

The first necessary thing that you need to buy is a new trailer, which will allow you to gather more crop and drive to the store less frequently. For the start, purchase the HKD 302 (it costs 24000$). You should be able to get the money after one or two harvests (remember to spray the fields after you sow). If you've joined fields no. 24 and 29, you can also sell the plow (go to the store and sell it directly - you will earn 9000$), which you won't need for now. Also, sell your old trailer and you will receive additional 4320$. By doing so, you should have no problem with obtaining the money you need. The new trailer will allow you to gather almost three times more crop.

A sowing machine that doesnt require the land to be cultivated first is an absolute must have for every farmer. - Changing your equipment - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughA sowing machine that doesn't require the land to be cultivated first is an absolute must have for every farmer.

Another useful, but "slightly" more expensive machine is a new sower - Rapid A600 S, which costs 52000$. However, you should get the money as fast as you can, either by selling the crop or the supplies, or getting a loan. The new sowing machine will allow you to sow without the need of cultivating the land first, which means the process will take only half the time. Sowing a field will be much faster now, so do not hesitate and buy the new machine as soon as you can. This way, your older sowing machine and cultivator will be able to work on fields no. 24 and 29 interchangeably and the new tool will work on field no. 38. The only problem that you may have with Rapid A600 S is the lack of an appropriate tractor to move it. The best thing to do is to use the tractor that you use for spraying, as the time of this process is very short. Another option is to leave the trailer near the place where you harvest, use the tractor to move the sowing machine and then return for the trailer. It may be a bit unhandy, but it will considerably increase the efficiency of you work, which will pay off quickly.

Dont forget to drive the harvester, along with the header, to the shop directly and sell it there, earning 20% more. - Changing your equipment - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughDon't forget to drive the harvester, along with the header, to the shop directly and sell it there, earning 20% more.

When you already have a better sowing machine, the sowing process is quicker than the harvest. It is because of the small container of your harvester, which needs to be unloaded frequently. It's time to think about some new machine that would have a harvester of wider range. It should even the pace of work of both the sowing machine and the harvester. However, you should prepare yourself for high costs. Once again, if you can, use the option of getting a loan or sell some of your supplies. Otherwise, a few trailers of wheat will do. You need 150000$ for TC5.90 harvester and 32000$ for Varifeed 18 harvester. Don't be scared of the numbers however, as when selling the previous harvester and header, you will earn 75000$, so the real cost will amount 106400$ (remember to transport the machines to the store and sell them directly). It's a lot of money, but changing the equipment is necessary - at this stage of the game it will increase the pace of harvesting considerably.

A new harvester will make the harvest faster thanks to a wider header and a bigger container. - Changing your equipment - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughA new harvester will make the harvest faster thanks to a wider header and a bigger container.

Ager changing the machines described above, you should be ready to buy your first new piece of land. However, it is good to wait for a while and purchase one additional thing - another Rapid A 600S sowing machine. When selling the old sowing machine and the cultivator, you will receive 14640$, so it would be good to earn the remaining 37600$, as with the new harvester, it shouldn't take long .Another sowing machine that doesn't require the land to be cultivated first will allow you to use the tractor that was previously occupied and will make the works faster. If you want to earn some more, buy a FC 3525 mower for 13500$, which will allow you to complete missions in your spare time.

With several new machines, you can start thinking about a new field. - Changing your equipment - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughWith several new machines, you can start thinking about a new field.

Before buying and additional piece of land, you should have the following equipment:

- 2x Agrostar 6.61 tractor able to move Rapid A600S sowing machines;

- H488 tractor, used interchangeably for moving the UF 1801 sprayer (along with FT 1001 extra tank) and FC 3525 mower;

- H488 tractor attached to HKD 302 tipper;

- TC5.90 harvester with the Varifeed 18 header.

You can also wait with buying the second sowing machine, as doing the work the usual way (using a cultivator) will be enough to manage three fields and Rapid A600S will work on the two new fields (however, when deciding to buy it, you will have one free tractor and the sowing process will speed up - remember about this transaction later in the game). The tractors are your weakest point now, but you can wait with buying new ones.

When you already have better equipment, you can think of buying a new field. Think about areas no. 25 and 30. When you have enough money, go onto the field you choose and find the icon in the middle of it, which will allow you to buy it.

One harvester simply wont be enough for a bigger number of fields. - New fields - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughOne harvester simply won't be enough for a bigger number of fields.

When having four pieces of land, you can encounter a problem - not being able to harvest all the fields in time (the sowing process will be faster than harvesting, despite having a better harvester). Remember about slowing the time in the game, to make it with harvesting on each field (you can also solve the problem by switching off plant withering). Continue to grow plants and earn money for buying another field. By doing so, you will have 5 pieces of land - 4 near the farm and one, no. 38, a bit farther.

Another sowing machine will have no problem getting the task done on your new fields. - New fields - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughAnother sowing machine will have no problem getting the task done on your new fields.

At this stage of the game, your farm will be developed to some level. Your next step should be purchasing a new harvester (the costs will be high, but it is necessary). This transaction will allow you to work full time on all the five that you have and also to buy a sixth one. Two efficient sowing machines and harvesters will be enough to deal with such area, so make sure to work on every field (interchangeably), which will bring large crops and god profit. Consider buying another tipper.

Thats how we roll. - New fields - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThat's how we roll.

Six pieces of land, two efficient harvesters and sowing machines and two large trailers - at this stage, you can truly say that you are an experienced farmer and you've obtained some nice equipment. The one think that will bother you, are the not so strong tractors of yours, so you should think about changing them next. Also, consider whether you want to continue growing plants or start a new business, like for example animal husbandry. There are quite a lot of possibilities, but don't change everything at once - purchase new machines slowly, so the work pace of for example your sowing machine wouldn't be much higher than of your harvesters. Watch out with buying new fields also - do not overinvest. Before finishing a transaction, make sure that you have enough machines to work on them. One set (a cultivator, a sowing machine, a tipper and a harvester) will be enough to work on three fields and more efficient equipment will manage on even larger area. Grow plants on another fields and sell the crop when the time is right, and you will quickly earn enough money to start new businesses.

Slowly developing your farm. - In steps - Quick start - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughSlowly developing your farm.

1. Start working on the fields you have. On one of them, you will find crop ready to harvest, another one will require sowing and the last one - cultivating. The necessary machines are left near the fields, so you will have no problem with knowing what needs to be done.

2. Sell the crop. In the right moment (increased demand), it is also good to get rid of some of your supplies, which will earn you more money and make the development of the gram quicker.

3. After collecting enough money, buy a sprayer (29000$). By doing so, your fields will give you twice as much crop.

4. Start to change your equipment. You will need a new tipper (24000$), a better sowing machines that doesn't require you to cultivate the land first (52000$) and also a new harvester with a larger container and wider range of working (182000$). In the meantime, you can also buy a mower or a tractor with a front loader (the cost is a lot higher), to earn some money by completing missions.

5. After getting new machines, it will be time for purchasing new pieces of land. The best fields to buy are the ones located close to your farm - no. 25 and 30.

6. Change other machines slowly, especially the tractors.

7. Your next step should be buying a new sowing machines, another field, a harvester and a tipper. When you have all that, your farm will be quite well developed. You will have machines that allow you to efficiently work on six fields and a solid basis for starting a new business - growing sugar beets and potatoes, woodcutting or animal husbandry.

One is happy when buying expensive tractors... - Further development - specialization - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughOne is happy when buying expensive tractors...

When you've set the basis for becoming an agricultural tycoon, the further development should steady. Continue to grow grain, as you have the appropriate equipment for that and selling it wouldn't be viable. In later stages of the game, you can start to grow sugar beets and potatoes, breed animals, produce biogas or cut wood. It depends on you, in which direction will your business go. Generally, there are several options.

- Further growing grain - no matter of what you want to do next, you should continue to grow grain. You have the right tools to work efficiently and profitably, so do not abandon this activity too quickly.

- Growing sugar beets or potatoes - this activity, when done the "proper" way, requires expensive equipment. However, switching to these plants will bring you bigger profits, which makes this business more viable than growing grain. Try to earn the money that you need and start growing beets and potatoes when the moment is right. It is a good idea to also continue to sow grain, which will make your business more varied.

- Animal husbandry - at this stage, you can forget about chickens, but sheep and cows will bring you some good money. To make this business more efficient, you will need a few new machines. You will also need straw, so it is a good option for farm with high grain production.

- Biogas production - When you already have a lot of cash, you can make even more by selling silage. It requires some expensive equipment, but the investment will pay off quickly. If you're focusing on earning money in the game, you can abandon all the other businesses and concentrate on this one.

- Woodcutting - a bit troublesome, but with the best gear available, the work goes fast and brings large profits. However, here, you have to do everything yourself, which makes working in the woods very absorbing. You can therefore stop all the other activities, as you can make a good living on wood cutting.

- Placing objects - strictly speaking, it is not a specialization, but it is a good supplement for all the above activities. You need to wait some time for the investments to pay off, but the profits are stable and you can really feel them - when you have too much cash, buy some solar collectors or even wind energy converters.

...one is happy when his cattle are happy. - Further development - specialization - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and Walkthrough...one is happy when his cattle are happy.

As you can see, there is a lot of options, when it comes to further developing the farm, each one being time and money-consuming. You shouldn't try everything at once as you will have trouble getting all the necessary equipment. Instead, you should choose your specialization and make it as efficient and profitable as you can. Then, you can start new businesses. Remember also that some of these activities are connected to each other - for example, you cannot breed animals without hay. It is good to make your farm more varied, by watch out not to overdo it - when taking up to many things, you risk not being able to coordinate them properly.

Remember about setting a goal - in Farming Simulator 15, there are no requirements to achieve victory, so the game can last forever. Fulfilling one task after another (for example - first buying a sprayer, later - having 100 cows or a wind energy converter) will let you plan the development of the farm and will give you a lot of satisfaction, when you complete these goals.

The first activity connected to animals that you will probably start is keeping chickens. It is because of two simple reasons: chickens are the cheapest animals in the game, so buying a lot of them is not a great expenditure. Moreover, you don't have you pay any attention to them - they find food on their own and just bring you eggs. To buy a chicken, enter the animals tab in the shopping menu (the cost of one chicken is 70$).

To pick up an egg, you just need to walk over it. - Chickens - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughTo pick up an egg, you just need to walk over it.

When you buy a chicken, it will automatically appear in the coop, which is located on your starting farm. As it was mentioned before, chickens do not require any attention and your only task is to pick up the eggs that they give. To do that, you just need to enter the chicken coop and run around for a while - the eggs are lying on the ground in various place and you will obtain them by simply running over them. Using sprint [SHIFT], you will be able to finish this task very quickly and the eggs that you collect will appear in your backpack. You can check the status of the product through your PDA [I], in the Animals tab. There, you will find info about your chickens and the eggs - the ones in the coop (number 60 tells you that you have to go pick up the eggs, as new ones will not appear until you do that), as well as the ones in your backpack (which you can sell). Every chicken gives you at least one egg per day.

This how one of the egg stores looks like. - Chickens - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThis how one of the egg stores looks like.

When you collect the eggs, you should also sell them. In order to do that, go to one of the shops on the map, which are marked by a special icon. You will find a blue icon in front of the entrance - just walk into it and all the eggs that you have in your backpack will be sold. The price is 11,5$, so go to the shop only when you have a lot of eggs, so you don't waste your time.

The more chickens you have, the more eggs you collect. - Chickens - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe more chickens you have, the more eggs you collect.

Keeping chickens is very easy and unabsorbing. Just buy as many as you want to have and start to regularly collect eggs and sell them. However, this activity is generally abandoned at later stages of the game, because of the need to run around the coop and pick up eggs. Having to do that all the time gets boring and the profits are not very large. Despite that, you can make some money on chickens at the beginning of the game. It is not a high cost and you can collect the eggs once a day. Remember - the profit is small, so do not sacrifice a lot of time to this activity, especially when you've already developed your farm to a higher level.

The investment pays off after less then a weak and after that, you can spend this money on machines maintenance. Remember that you have to collect eggs every day, but you can sell them once every few days.

Advantages:

- chickens don't require any attention,

- you will use some steady profit at the beginning of the game,

Disadvantages:

- having to collect eggs and sell them at the shop,

- later in the game, the profit is too small.

Another kind of animals that you can keep are sheep. They're more expensive than chickens and require attention, as well as equipment, which allows you to feed them and sell the wool. They're kept outside the farm (sheep icon on the map).

When you buy sheep, they will appear on your farm automatically. However, they won't start producing wool if you don't feed them (practically, they will, but the production will be so low that keeping them wouldn't make sense). To do that, you will need at least two machines: a mower (FC 3525 F for 13500$) and an Euroboss 350T loader for 27000$. Having this equipment, you can start to mow the grass.

An efficient mowing system. - Sheep - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughAn efficient mowing system.

To make your work much easier, attach the mower at the front and the loader at the back of the tractor. By doing so, you will be gathering the grass that you mow. There's always enough grass - at first, you can mow the road verges nearby, area around the fields, etc. When the loader is full, you can go back to your sheep to feed them.

Feeding your sheep is very easy - you just have to unload the grass - Sheep - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughFeeding your sheep is very easy - you just have to unload the grass

To do that, drive near the trough so that the back of the loader faces it. Then, unload the grass [Q]. Loading the trough once will be enough for six days (more sheep = more grass), so it is good to leave the loader somewhere near the pasture. When the sheep are fed, they will produce wool faster. You can check the amount of grass in the trough and the amount of wool in the Animals tab in your PDA [I].

The sheep are eating, which means they wills start producing wool soon. - Sheep - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe sheep are eating, which means they wills start producing wool soon.

When the pallet with wool is full, you have a few options: you can transport it to the shop right away (using a front loader) and sell it. You can also start to stack up the pallets on a trailer, as transporting them one by one is tiring and time-consuming (in the shopping menu, enter the bales technology tab and choose DPW 180 for 12000$). No matter of which option you choose, you have to have a tractor with a front loader (the cheapest model that will do is T4.75 for 64000$ and a FZ 30 loader for 5400$), pallet fork and a weight.

Load the pallets slowly, not to damage anything. - Sheep - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughLoad the pallets slowly, not to damage anything.

Take the tractor with the loader and slowly drive at the pallets. When picking up the pallet, never hurry - it is better perform that task a bit longer than to pick up a dropped load. After setting the pallet on the right place... wait for the next batch of wool. If you've decided to drive to the shop, head to the place marked by a thread ball icon. This way, you will earn about 4700$.

The place where you sell your wool. - Sheep - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe place where you sell your wool.

Keeping sheep is so absorbing only at the beginning, when you have to provide a lot of grass. Later, depending on the number of animals you have, you will only have to supply food from time to time and collect and sell pallets of wool. As opposed to keeping chickens, here, you can earn quite a lot of money, so it is a good idea to invest in sheep when you have the capital.

Required equipment: T4.75 tractor (64000$) with a FZ 30 front loader (5400$), a pallet fork (800$) and a weight (800$). Additionally, FC 3525 F (13500$) and Euroboss 330T loader (27000$). Sheep cost 300$ for one. At the start, you should have at least 25 (75000$). When your farm develops, the optimal number is 100 sheep (30000$).

Recommended purchase: When having 25 sheep, you can transport one pallet once every 3,5 days, but when you have 100 animals, it doesn't pay off. Therefore, it is good to invest in a DPW 180 tipper for 12000$. Later, because of the increased need for grass, you may also consider purchasing a new field near the pasture, a better mower and a new loader. However, buy one thing at a time. Even when you have 100 sheep, you can make good profit on them using the basic machines - it will simply take more time.

The lost sheep. - Sheep - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe lost sheep.

Advantages:

- when having the optimal amount of sheep, they bring quite a good profit;

- doesn't require much attention;

- the necessary equipment can be also used for completing missions and earning back some of the invested money.

Disadvantages:

- high starting costs;

- you have to use a front loader to pick up the goods, which is not very convenient;

- the transport is also difficult.

Minimal version

It is a starting option, so you should buy more sheep over time and reach the optimal version. For the start, buy all the necessary equipment (mentioned above) and 25 sheep. After feeding them (3000l of grass), they will start producing wool. Producing one pallet of wool will take them about 3,5 days, so you won't be very absorbed by your sheep during the process. After 3 days, simply check how the production is. When the pallet is ready, transport it to the shop and sell it. Then, remember to feed the sheep and after next 3 days - about the pallet.

Its very difficult to attach two trailers. - Sheep - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughIt's very difficult to attach two trailers.

Cost of equipment: a tractor with a loader (71000$), a mower (13500$), a tipper (27000$) and 25 sheep (7500$). The total cost of starting this business is 119000$. As you can see, the cost is high, but certainly within your reach. Remember that after buying the loader and the mower, you don't have to keep them near the sheep all the time - it is a good idea to earn some money by completing missions.

Profit: 4500 for a pallet, which gives you 1285$ for a day.

In this version, keeping sheep is not very viable - high starting costs and relatively low profits (because of the long waiting time). However, this is only the beginning and the equipment that you buy can be used for completing missions. A good thing is that sheep do not require much attention - 2 times a week you have to transport the pallet and feed the sheep once a week.

Optimal version

This is how your business with sheep should naturally develop. Buying more animals will increase the speed of producing wool considerably. The equipment that you will need is identical as in the minimal version. Feeding more sheep requires more grass of course (12000l). It takes only 21 hours to produce a pallet, so you will need a bale trailer, on which you can load up to 4 pallets.

Remember to place the pallets close to one another so that you can fit 4 stacks onto the trailer. - Sheep - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughRemember to place the pallets close to one another so that you can fit 4 stacks onto the trailer.

When loading the wool, place each pallet close to the other one, not to leave too much empty space. If the pallets are to close to the edge, you can push them a little to the middle with a loader. When you load the wool, go to the shop - drive slowly and carefully. It is best to stick to asphalt roads and break before turns - dropping the pallets will make you a lot of trouble. You can also buy two trailers and attach them both to the tractor (do that before you start to load the pallets. However, it is not an easy task - try to place one behind the other one, close to it and start moving the first one (switch on the action menu [F1] - when the appropriate option appears, attach the trailer [Q]). Despite the difficulties that this task brings, it is worth the effort, as with two trailers, you will have to transport the pallets only once every 8 days.

You only have to sow the grass once. - Sheep - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughYou only have to sow the grass once.

Later in the game, when you buy a piece of land near the pasture, sow some grass on it (you will find the seeds in the bags). When you sow it once, it will then no longer require doing that. When you have the best version of mower attached at the back, attach the smaller one at the front. This way, you will work more efficiently. A large trailer will store the grass for a longer period.

Cost of equipment: A tractor with a loader (71000$), a mower (13500$), a trailer (27000$) + another one (12000$) and 100 sheep (30000$). Later: a new field, for example no. 10 on the Bjornholm map (37575$), better mower (FC 10030 for 52000$) and a larger tipper (Carex 38S for 59000$). The cost of running such a business is higher and amounts: 153000$ (basic costs) + 132375$ (field, mower, new trailer - after selling the previous one), which gives you 285875$ in total. The cost is very high, so remember that you can live without a better mower and the filed - it is not a necessary purchase, so buy it only if you have a lot of money. The same goes for better trailer.

Profit: averagely 4500$ for a day.

The most efficient method of mowing. - Sheep - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe most efficient method of mowing.

Keeping sheep is much more profitable, especially that you will have to buy the machines anyway. Even with the weakest mower and trailer, you can do quite well and theirs is enough grass everywhere. If you don't want to drive to the shop everyday, you just need a second trailer. The rest of the equipment described above is optional, but you should remember that newer machines and an additional field will make the work faster, especially later in the game, when you will have a lot on your plate.

Providing straw will increase the efficiency slightly. It will also start the production of manure. - Cows - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughProviding straw will increase the efficiency slightly. It will also start the production of manure.

Cows are the last, the most expensive, but the most profitable kind of animals that you can keep. Analogically to previous, a cow appears on your farm as soon as you buy it. They are very picky, when it goes for the food and living conditions, so this husbandry is the most absorbing one.

Keeping cows

The first thing that you should do is provide straw. You will of course need to first harvest some field and then you will need a tipper (Euroboss 330T for 27000$). Remember about switching on the straw swath mode in the harvester [,]. After collecting the grass, transport it to the place where you keep your cows and unload it to the troughs (in the wooden building). By doing so, you will increase the productivity from 5% to 14%. However, a more important thing is that the cows will start to produce manure, which you can later use to fertilize fields.

Loading a slurry tank. - Cows - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughLoading a slurry tank.

Cows also provide slurry, which can loaded onto a slurry tank. The production starts automatically - you don't need to provide anything for the cows first.

Buying a field near a bigger husbandry. - Cows - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughBuying a field near a bigger husbandry.

Another important task is starting the feeding process. Cows can be fed in three ways - using only grass or silage, grass and silage and a special mixture (straw, hay and silage). For the start focus on providing enough grass, as it is the easiest thing to do. At this stage of the game, you should already have a mower and a good trailer. To feed the cows, you just need to mow the meadows nearby, where there's plenty of grass. You will find the trough on the other side of the cowshed. Later, it will be good to buy field no. 40 (Bjornholm, cost: 78300$). This will provide plenty of grass, close to the place where you keep cows.

You need a lot of grass to produce silage. - Cows - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughYou need a lot of grass to produce silage.

A lot of grass is necessary when you want to increase the productivity from 44% (feeding only with grass) to 80%. You will need at least 30000l of grass, so you should really consider buying a new field, as well as a new trailer.

The fermentation process. - Cows - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe fermentation process.

After mowing enough grass (you can always mow some more, if you want to), go to the special silo, which is located near the cowshed. The silo has to be filled to at least 10% of its capacity. Then, drive around the chaff with the tractor for a while. After you do that, the option of covering the silo will appear and the grass will start to ferment. When the process ends, the silage is ready.

You have to make several trips to fill up the troughs. - Cows - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughYou have to make several trips to fill up the troughs.

Your next task will be to feed the cows with the silage that you just made. You will need a tractor with a front loader (use universal bucket). Just lower the bucket and load the silage. Next, lift the bucket and rotate it so that you won't drop the load. Then, transport the silage into the trough. Making a few such trips shouldn't take you a lot of time. The silage will suffice for a long time. Check the Animals tab from time to time, to control the amount of food.

Bales are ready to be loaded onto a mixer wagon. - Cows - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughBales are ready to be loaded onto a mixer wagon.

To increase the milk production to the maximum level, you will need more equipment and more effort. First of all, you have to be able to make bales. You will learn how to do that in the chapter about grass, hay and straw. You need bales of hay, as well as of straw. Transport them close to the cowshed (you can get hay bales from field no. 40, which you should buy later in the game). The next resource that you will need is the silage. You will also need a mixer wagon (Profile 1880, cost: 39000$). Transport it to the cowshed.

A proper mixture will increase the productivity to the maximum level. - Cows - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughA proper mixture will increase the productivity to the maximum level.

The last element is preparing the fodder in the mixer wagon. Use a front loader to load the bales onto the wagon (one bale of hay and one bale of straw) and then, put in 2 to 4 buckets of silage. The proportion should be as follows: 25% - 50% of hay and silage, no more than 40% of straw. You can check the numbers by getting into the tractor with the mixture wagon. When you already have the fodder, fill the trough with it - you don't have to worry about grass or silage anymore, because cows will eat only the mixture. The productivity will increase to 100%.

Milk is sold automatically at the end of each day. The profit depends on the number of cows that you have and their productivity. Moreover, you can use the manure and the slurry produced by the cattle (you only need the right machines).

The last stage is, of course, feeding the cows. - Cows - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe last stage is, of course, feeding the cows.

Cow husbandry is the most time-consuming and absorbing business. It allows you to earn a lot of money, but it requires a large starting capital. Buying all the necessary tools, cows and keeping maximum productivity is possible only when having the proper financial support. However, you can always run the husbandry in the minimal or the optimal version. The profits will be smaller, but you will save some time and some money that you would need for the equipment - the business will require a lot of attention only at the beginning.

Advantages:

- being able to choose the level of development of your husbandry;

- possibility to earn a lot of money;

- milk is sold automatically.

Disadvantages

- high costs of starting the business;

- very absorbing, at least at the beginning;

- requires constant attention.

Different versions of cow husbandry

Providing grass is not a problem. - Cows - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughProviding grass is not a problem.

In the minimal version, you can buy 10 cows, which will cost you 25000$. Additionally, you will need a mower and a trailer (you should already have that; the cost of such equipment is 40500$). You will use the trailer to fill up the troughs with grass and later for providing straw. After spending 65500$, you will be able to keep the productivity on the level of 44%. The needs of a small cattle are not high: about 1500l of grass and the same amount of straw shouldn't be a problem - you don't need to buy a new field at this stage of production.

Number of cows: 10

Total cost: 65000$

Productivity: 44%

Profit: 2420$ for a day.

You don't have to invest a lot of money and if you already have a mower and a trailer, you only need to buy cows (you can always buy more, if you want). Such business will provide small, but noticeable profit.

I takes only a second to load the silage. - Cows - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughI takes only a second to load the silage.

In the optimal version, you should have at least 3 cows (they will cost you 75000$, which is a large expenditure). Besides the mower and the trailer (it is good to buy some more efficient equipment, but it is not necessary), you should also consider buying an additional piece of land, as you will need a lot of grass (no. 40 on the Bjornholm map costs 78300$). You must have a tractor with a front loader (the cheapest set costs 71000$). To increase the productivity at this stage, beside the grass, you have to also provide silage. As you can see, the amount of required grass is quite large (at least 30000l), so mowing nearby meadows won't suffice. You can do that still, if you want, but a better idea is to think about a new field and better machines. The productivity that you will obtain when providing two types of food will be 80%, which is worth the effort. You will use 3300 l of silage per day, so one fermentation will suffice for a long time.

Number of cows: 30

Costs: 264800$ (with a new field, a tractor and a loader, which you should also already have at this stage)

Productivity: 80%

Profit: 13200$ per day

The biggest cost here will be purchasing a new field and a tractor with a loader, unless you already have that. However, this investment will pay off, as high productivity allows you to earn a lot of money. Later, think about a new mower (52000$) and a trailer (59000$), which were not included in the numbers given above. With better equipment, you can increase the number of cows to 50 and the profit will rise accordingly - you will be earning about 22000$ per day. There will be no problem in maintaining high productivity with such machines.

Happy cows are worth a small fortune! - Cows - Animals - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughHappy cows are worth a small fortune!

The "max" version is at least 50 cows, which will give milk at the highest available level of productivity. Buying a new field, a mower and a trailer is a must. You will also need a baler (88000$) and a mixer wagon (39000$). A great idea is to buy Autostack FS 63-72, which will allow you to transport a lot of bales at a time - it costs 45000$. High investments also means high profits, as the mixture will give you the highest productivity.

Number of cows: 50

Costs: about 450000$

Productivity: 100%

Profit: 27500$

You can earn really a lot of money with this option. You have to put some effort into the business, but as you can see, it's very viable. The profits will rise with every new cow. Having 70 -75 of them seems to be a good number, because of the necessity to prepare the fodder more often. You can earn even 40000$ a day. It is good to take good care of your cattle.

Youll remember me when the west wind moves upon the fields of barley... - Grain - Plants - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and Walkthrough"You'll remember me when the west wind moves upon the fields of barley..."

Grain is the first kind of plants that you will grow. With the basic equipment that you have at the beginning of the game, you cannot grow only corn - all the other plants are within your reach. The machines that are necessary for growing grain are: a cultivator and a sowing machine and later a sprayer and a harvester. Don't forget also about a tractor with a tipper, on which you can load the crop harvested by the harvester.

Wheat/barley/canola

At the beginning of the gameplay, you can sow one of three kinds of grain: wheat, barley and canola. You will learn how to prepare a field for sowing from the chapter about growing plants. The tasks are as follows: cultivation, sowing, harvest. Remember to invest in a sprayer as soon as you can, as it will allow you to harvest bigger crops on every field.

Better machines = more efficient work. - Grain - Plants - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughBetter machines = more efficient work.

In the later part of the game, don't forget about buying new machines. Try to match the speed in which every vehicle works - i.e. don't invest in a new harvester if you still have the most basic sowing machines. New equipment will considerably increase the efficiency of your work, thanks to higher speed and wider range. Al three kinds of grain mentioned above are grown the same way and don't require any additional gear. Remember to first fill up the tanks in the sowing machine and the sprayer and to prepare the harvester and the tractor with a tipper.

Below, you can see a table of crops and the profits that each kind of grain brings (prices from normal level of difficulty). All the fields were sprayed (you can use fertilizer also). If you haven't done that, your crop will be smaller.

As you can see, the most profitable plants are wheat and barley (the difference is almost unnoticeable). Canola, despite the high price, gives smaller crop, which in the end makes it the least viable option. You can also see the differences in prices in the table. It is very important when selling large amounts of grain. Remember, that you will earn even more when completing a mission or during increased demand.

Corn

Corn is a kind of grain, but it is impossible to grow it at the very beginning of the game. To start growing corn, you need a special sowing machine and an appropriate harvester. You prepare the field the same way - cultivation, sowing and later harvest.

At the beginning, when using the weakest header, the work will go rather slow. Fortunately, you don't need a special harvester, so when changing the machines, you will only have to buy two headers - one for wheat/barley/canola and other one for corn. To start grown corn, you have to buy a special sowing machine that allows you to sow corn and sugar beets (Tempo F8 for 61000$). Your next purchase should be a header (for the basic harvester, Comia C6, the appropriate header is Quasar F4 for 18000$). The minimal cost will be 79000$. Later in the game, you will need to change the harvester, as well as the header.

Moreover, you have to include the costs of starting the business: Tempo F8 sowing machine for 61000$ and Quasar F4 header for 18000$. To sum up, growing corn for the purpose of selling it in shops is not viable. However, it can be grown in order to use it in the fodder for cows or to produce biogas.

Sugar beets ready to be harvested. Time to get rid of the leaves. - Sugar beets and potatoes - Plants - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughSugar beets ready to be harvested. Time to get rid of the leaves.

Sugar beets and potatoes require you to cut the leaves before you harvest them. The following machines are necessary for you to buy: a special sowing machine, a machine that cuts the leaves and one that harvests the plants. The last two tasks can be performed by one, very efficient, but expensive harvester. All the other tasks are identical to those when growing grain - cultivation, sowing, spraying. Next, you will have to cut off the leaves and then - harvest. It makes the work a bit longer, but these plants are very profitable.

Sugar beets

In order to start growing sugar beets, you will need a special sowing machine. At the beginning, it will be the same model that can also be used for growing corn - Tempo F8 for 61000$. The sowing is done the same way as always, but remember about choosing the right seed [O]. After you've sowed the field, don't forget to spray it as well.

The first stage of the work - removing the leaves. - Sugar beets and potatoes - Plants - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe first stage of the work - removing the leaves.

When the plants are ready to be harvested, another machine will enter the stage - a machine for cutting the leaves. You can complete this task with FT 300 for 17000$. Unfortunately, you cannot hire a worker to do that for you, which makes the time of harvesting beets longer. Remember to drive in a straight line and try not to omit any rows. You cannot allow a situation in which you will harvest for example only two rows. Fortunately, there's no speed limit here, so this task goes faster than the harvest.

Harvesting the roots is the next task. - Sugar beets and potatoes - Plants - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughHarvesting the roots is the next task.

After removing the greens, the time for proper harvest comes. For this, you will need a special harvester - Rooster 604, which costs 88000$. Unfortunately, just like in the case of the previous task, you cannot hire a worker here. The width of the harvester is not large, so it may take you some time. Moreover, you have to frequently drive to the trailer, to unload the tank.

Maxtron 620 - an expensive, but very efficient machine. - Sugar beets and potatoes - Plants - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughMaxtron 620 - an expensive, but very efficient machine.

However, there is a cure for the problems described above - you can cut the leaves and harvest the roots at the same time. It is possible thanks to Maxtron 620, which costs only 479000$. This harvester performs these two tasks simultaneously and you can hire a worker to drive it. It is a perfect machine for harvesting beets, but the price is its huge downside. If you think about growing this plant seriously, you have to save money to buy this harvester - despite the small width, it will speed up the work considerably. The most efficient way is to help your worker - let the Maxtron 620 work on 2/3 of the field and take care of the rest yourself. Remove the leaves and begin to harvest - you will do the work much faster when together. Another way is to drive a tractor with a trailer right next to the harvester so that it doesn't need to stop and unload the crop. Because of large crops, you will also need to invest in a bigger tipper - at least TMK 266 Bull with 32t capacity (it costs 35000$). Thus is only for the start. The bigger area you sow on, the bigger the crop, so it's good to buy a bigger trailer later.

Below, you can see a table of profits given by growing sugar beets. Remember to spray the field - otherwise, your crop will be two times smaller.

As you can see, growing sugar beets is twice as profitable as growing grain, so starting this business should be an obvious choice at some point of the gameplay. However, you should remember about the initial costs (166 00$ in total) and later expenditures - a bigger tipper, the best harvester (over 500000$). Additionally, when using cheaper machines, you have to perform two tasks by yourself, which makes the work much longer. Growing beets is much more viable and less arduous when you have the best equipment. It is therefore good to try to save some money to buy it.

Potatoes

Growing potatoes is similar to growing sugar beets. To start this activity, you have to purchase a special sowing machines. The cheapest one costs 21000$ (model GL 420). If you have some more money, do not hesitate and buy GL 660 for 57000$, which is twice as wider. You fill it up the same way as usually.

Filling up the machine. - Sugar beets and potatoes - Plants - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughFilling up the machine.

The first task, when the plants are ready, is to remove the leaves. You can do that using a K 75-4 (it costs only 7900$). Cutting the greens shouldn't take you long, but you have to do this task yourself - there's no possibility of hiring a worker here. Next, you can harvest the potatoes. To do that, buy an appropriate harvester (SE 260, which costs 127000$). Its biggest downside is the width, which amounts only two meters. Unfortunately - this task also cannot be done by a worker, so prepare yourself for a lot of work.

Just like in the case of sugar beets, you can make the work faster by buying a special harvester, which removes the leaves and harvests potatoes at the same time. It costs 479000$ (Tectron 415). The costs is quite high, but if you think about the business seriously, you have no choice - joining two tasks into one will speed up the work. Also the width of the harvester is bigger. You can also hire a worker to drive it. Don't forget about a large trailer, as you will harvest more potatoes than sugar beets.

Growing potatoes is also very profitable - you harvest large crops, on which you can earn a lot of money, despite the low prices. You should however remember about high initial costs (155900$) and later expenditures - a better sowing machine, larger tippers and lastly, Tectron 415 harvester, without which, you cannot start a big business.

Grass

Working with a mower and a trailer at the same time will allow you to collect grass very fast. - Grass, hay, straw - Plants - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughWorking with a mower and a trailer at the same time will allow you to collect grass very fast.

You can sow grass using the basic sowing machine: choose the right seeds and start the process. You only have to do this once, as the grass will grown back by itself after some time. At the beginning of the game, you don't have to waste the area on your field to sow grass - you can mow it on nearby meadows and along roads. This way, you will get enough to for example start a sheep husbandry. To start getting grass, you need at least two machines - a mower (the cheapest one costs 8300$, but it is much better to save some more and buy FC 3525 for 13500$) and a tipper (Euroboss 330T for 27000$ will do for the start).

To sell grass/hay/straw, you have to drive to the shop and unload the trailer. - Grass, hay, straw - Plants - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughTo sell grass/hay/straw, you have to drive to the shop and unload the trailer.

A good way to mow grass is to attach a mower at the front and a trailer at the back. This way, you will automatically pick up the grass you mow. Later in the game, when you will need a lot of grass (because of, for example, a large sheep or cow farm), it will be good to invest in the best mower available (it costs 52000$) and attach it at the back of the tractor. This way you will mow the area on the sides and in front of the tractor. A new trailer is also a good idea. The grass can be sold in a shop located on your farm - you will get about 100$ for a ton. When you ha nothing better to do, you can earn some money this way, also completing missions connected to mowing.

Hay

Windrowing doesnt take long. - Grass, hay, straw - Plants - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughWindrowing doesn't take long.

Hay is dried grass. To "produce" it, you will have to buy a windrower (GF 6502 for 10300$). This way, in the place where you drive with the windrower attached, the grass will dry immediately. It is a good idea to attach a mower at the front and a windrower at the back of the tractor. Next, you can load the hay onto a trailer and - similarly to grass - sell it in the shop. However, it is not very profitable, as the price is the same and you only have to work more. Hay will be more useful in the form of bales.

Straw

Grass clippings, after the harvest. - Grass, hay, straw - Plants - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughGrass clippings, after the harvest.

Straw is the byproduct of harvesting two kinds of grain. To be able to collect straw, you need either wheat or barley. Next, when starting the harvest, remember to switch on the appropriate option in the tractor that will allow you to get straw [,]. By doing so, you will leave straw that is ready to be collected, in places where you harvest. You can of course collect it using a proper trailer. For a ton of straw, you will get 80$ in the shop. However, it will be more useful for taking care for your cows, which will start to produce manure in return.

Making bales

A baler during work. - Grass, hay, straw - Plants - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughA baler during work.

Selling it in the shop is not the only thing that you can do with grass, hay or straw. These products will be used for feeding animals. Sheep and cattle can be fed with normal grass, hay and straw is used to produce fodder for cows. To do that, you will need bales and to make them, you will of course need either hay or straw, left on the field. Then, using a tractor with a baler attached to it, you simply have to drive around the field, collecting hay or straw. When there's enough of it in the machine, the baler will produce a bale.

Green bales are made from hay, yellow ones - from straw. - Grass, hay, straw - Plants - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughGreen bales are made from hay, yellow ones - from straw.

It will be necessary to buy a few machines - one of the bale makers (costs about 90000$), a front loader and a special tractor (the cheapest version costs 64000$). With this equipment, you will be able to make bales and transport them anywhere, to sell them or use for making fodder. Collecting larger amounts is much easier with proper machines. You can also buy a trailer and load the bales using a front loader.

To transport bales, you will need a front loader. - Grass, hay, straw - Plants - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughTo transport bales, you will need a front loader.

No matter of what of which option you choose, you need to spend some money in order to be able to make bales (the price of the bale maker is the main factor here). However, bales will be necessary later in the game, to, for example, increase the productivity of your cow husbandry to maximum. Prices in the shop: a bale of hay (green) - about 840$, a bale of straw (yellow) - about 500$.

Below, we list all the options of growing plants in the game - the average crop, as well as the profits. At the beginning, you can only saw grain (wheat, barley, canola). Corn, sugar beets and potatoes require buying special equipment. Remember that the average crop amount is given for a field that has been sprayed or fertilized before the harvest. If you don't do that, expected a half of the number given.

Factors not included in the comparison:

- time required (for example a machine not wide enough);

- comfort (the ability to hire a worker);

- investments that have to be make (especially noticeable in the case of beets and potatoes);

- increased demand;

You can clearly see that the most profitable option is growing sugar beets and potatoes - they require you to invest a lot, but it pays off after a few harvests. You should try to start this activities when it will be possible (sugar beets seems to be a slightly better option, especially on the first stage, where you do not yet have the best harvester available). When beginning the game, sow mainly wheat and barley, as these two plants are the most profitable at this stage. There's not point in growing corn at all, at least when it would be used for selling.

You will receive about twice as more for sugar beets and potatoes than for grain. It is because despite the low price, the crop is very large. Notice also the differences in prices: on 1ha, the difference may amount 3000$, which has a huge meaning when selling a lot of product.

Best prices for each type of crop:

- Wheat - windmill, grain elevator (Bjornholm), train station, bar (Westbridge Hills).

- Barley - grain elevator, windmill (Bjornholm), grain mill, train station (Westbridge Hills)

- Canola - transport company (Bjornholm), flour mill (Westbridge Hills).

From boards spread around the whole map, you can learn what missions are currently available. To check it, you just need to enter the icon of an exclamation mark located in front of any job board. There are three main types of missions: mowing, transporting pallets and crop delivery. Each one requires appropriate equipment (a mower, a tractor with a front loader or a tractor with a trailer + supplies in the warehouse).

This tab informs you about the type of mission and about the reward. - Missions - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThis tab informs you about the type of mission and about the reward.

For completing a mission, you will receive a reward and for doing it fast - a bonus. There's no penalty for not completing a mission or abandoning it. You have about 10 minutes for every mission, so it's a good idea to focus on one at a time, to obtain the bonus for doing the task fast. Places connected to missions (for example a field that has to be mowed) are marked on the minimap with a green circle.

When the mission is done, you will receive a reward and sometimes, optionally, a bonus. - Missions - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughWhen the mission is done, you will receive a reward and sometimes, optionally, a bonus.

Remember that you can change how often new missions appear in the settings. This way, you will be able to decline those more difficult or impossible to complete at the moment and new ones will appear very quickly (once every 2 minutes).

The rewards given here are only approximate numbers. The bonus is also an average number, but the main rule here is "the faster, the better".

To complete missions that require you to mow grass, you will of course need a mower. You shouldn't even bother with the cheapest version (Novacat 302 ED - 8300$) and buy FC 3525 F for 13500$. This investment will pay off really quickly and thanks to the wider range of working of the second machine, you will complete tasks very fast (4 - 6 minutes maximum). The mower can be attached to the basic tractor.

Mowing is an easy and relatively quick task. - Mowing - Missions - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughMowing is an easy and relatively quick task.

After accepting a mission, drive the tractor with the mower to the right place (near field no. 36 or near the circus in the north-eastern part of Bjornholm map). Mowing is very easy- first, lower the machine [V], next, switch it on [B]. Try to mow by driving in circles. You don't have to be very accurate and such system will allow you to turn around quickly. If the mission doesn't end, you've probably left too much grass. You can either collect the grass or leave it. To complete this mission, you need the mower mentioned above. There's also a better model, but it's twice as expensive (FC 100300 - 52000$). It was wider working width, but if you use a mower only for completing missions, you shouldn't waste money. The field you mow is not so big so the cheaper model will be enough.

Required equipment: a tractor (which you have from the start) + FC 3525 F mower for 13500$.

Profitability: at early stage of the game, it is a great way of earning money, as you will earn back the money that you've invested after 2 - 3 missions.

Reward: about 5000$ + optional bonus (4000$ - 6000$).

When having the best available mower, the task will take you three minutes maximum. - Mowing - Missions - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughWhen having the best available mower, the task will take you three minutes maximum.

Mowing is a great way for earning easy money, especially at the beginning of the gameplay - a mower is not so expensive and pays off almost immediately. If you've bought the best version for other purposes, then you can complete missions even at more advanced stages of the game - dealing with a small field will take you no more than three minutes.

For this missions, you will need a special tractor, to which you can attach a front loader. The cheapest version of such machine costs 64000$, so it's quite an expenditure. The missions consist in loading pallets onto the fork and transporting them from A to B. The biggest difficulty here is not the transport itself, but the moment of picking up pallets...

Precision is the key to success. - Transport - Missions - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughPrecision is the key to success.

You need to practice a little to be skilled in controlling the loader. After you know how to do it properly, missions will become easier and more pleasant. Controls are not very complex - you lower and raise the loader with [J] and [N] and you control the fork with [L] and [M]. Approach the pallet slowly, try to place the fork parallel to the ground and push it through the two holes. It can be sometimes helpful to push the pallet against some wall or fence so that the fork goes deeper. Next, lift the loader and without hurry, head towards the unloading point. If you drop the load, you have to pick it up again - you don't have to worry about any damage.

When approaching the unloading point, you don't have to worry about placing the pallet right - the task will be completed as soon as you get close to the circle.

Required Equipment: T4.75 tractor for 64000$, FZ 30 front loader for 5400$, pallet fork for 800$ and a weight for 800$.

Profitability: average - you don't earn much on transport mission and they are more time-consuming than mowing, as they usually consist in driving through a big part of the map. It is also quite easy to drop the load, which makes it difficult to receive a bonus.

Reward: about 5000$ + optional bonus (usually rather small).

Front loader mission get easier without every next task, as you get better in operating the machine. However, they require a lot of skill and are very absorbing. Also, when transporting the pallet, you can very easily make a mistake and loose the bonus.

A weak tractor and a heavy trailer is not a good idea. - Demand - Missions - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughA weak tractor and a heavy trailer is not a good idea.

This is quite an unusual type of missions, as theoretically, you won't need any new special equipment to complete them - you already have a tractor and a trailer. The problem is that you need to have a lot of supplies, which you will deliver to somebody (sometimes it's even more than 50t). The task consists in loading the crop onto a trailer, delivering it to a given shop and then unloading (you don't have to do it in one trip - you can drive there as many times as you want). The mission itself is very easy, as long as you have the right equipment - and this is precisely the reason for which you should complete this type of missions at more advanced stage of the game, when you're farm is well developed. Firstly, you will then have a better tractor with a bigger trailer, which means that you won't need to make a lot of trips and the probability of earning a bonus for time will increase. Secondly, you need some solid supplies, which you won't probably have at the beginning of the game.

Harvest can wait - go for the bonus! - Demand - Missions - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughHarvest can wait - go for the bonus!

The reward for these missions varies depending on the amount of goods that you have to deliver. It's not very high, but the bonus is. The bonus is precisely why you should take interest in this type of missions - the additional reward can be even 40 - 50 times (!) bigger than the basic reward. Moreover, remember that you also earn money for the goods you deliver. When you have a lot of supplies, completing missions becomes more profitable, especially when you do it fast. You will then receive money for the transaction and a high bonus.

The circle marks the place where the chain saw will cut. - Woodcutting - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe circle marks the place where the chain saw will cut.

The first tool that you will need is of course a chainsaw (it costs only 1000$). Using it, you will be able to cut trees and trim them to appropriate length. There are three types of chainsaw in the game, which you activate by pressing [1], [2] or [3]. After choosing the saw, you can rotate it using [J] and [N]. To cut down a tree, the chainsaw has to be rotated a bit. Next, approach the tree and notice a blue circle on it, which shows you where exactly you will be cutting. Now you just have to choose the right place (the lower the better) and start the engine [hold LMB]. When you start cutting, the circle will turn green and the chainsaw will start moving automatically. After the tree falls down, you can cut it into transportable pieces. Remember to get rid of the branches.

When you have some more money, you can make the process of cutting trees quicker, by purchasing a special machine - Scorpionking (it costs 317000$). Cutting trees with it takes only a moment. First, you have to drive close to the chosen tree, place the harvester in appropriate position and set the length [O]. Next, start the harvester [B] and press [X] cut. The machine will "grab" the tree in the chosen place. Then, cut as many times as you need, to divide the tree into even pieces (you can change the size of the log at any moment).

Learning to operate the crane requires some time. - Woodcutting - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughLearning to operate the crane requires some time.

The next, slightly more difficult step, is to load the wood onto a trailer. You need a special machine for that - FHL 13 AK (later - Buffalo - the crane works the same way, but you don't need to switch places). In FHL 13 AK, you have to first drive with a tractor to a chosen place and than go to the machine at the back. The most difficult thing here is to learn to properly operate the crane, as there are a lot of options. You can raise or lower the whole loader ([N], [J]), and move it to the sides ([M]/[K]). Moreover, when holding [CTRL] and pressing the keys responsible for moving the crane, you will move the whole trailer. Also, when holding [SHIFT] and pressing [N] or [J], you can bend one of the arms (it will allow you to place the logs with precision) and by pressing [M] or [K], you can extend the arm. There's one more combination - [CTRL] + [SHIFT] with [N] or [J] moves the grab and [K] or [M] opens and closes it. As you can see, it's complicated even in theory and you will have to spend a lot of time to learn to properly do it in practice.

Generally - the longer and thicker the log, the more money you get. One tree of average size will give you should give you 12000$ - 13000$. You can also sell the wood by unloading it near the train.

Selling logs is not the only way of earning money here. If you cut a tree onto smaller pieces (about 2m), you can use it to make wood chips. You will need HEM 538 Z, which costs 88000$. Grab a log with the crane and place it near the wood chipper. Don't forget to place a tractor with a trailer on the other side, to collect the wood chips. From 5m of wood, you will make about 4t of chips, which will earn you about 3000$. Selling logs is more profitable and you don't need a trailer and a tractor.

Woodcutting is very time-consuming, but also very profitable. To start this business, you only need a chainsaw (1000$) and a machine for transporting logs (54000$). The biggest difficulty here is operating the crane, with which you pick up and place the logs on the trailer. If you have the two best machines in the game, you can shorten the process of cutting to a few moments and the Buffalo will allow you to transport a lot of logs in one trip. You can earn a lot on woodcutting, but eventually the tasks may appear as very boring and irritating.

Depending on what level of difficulty you select, you begin the game with different debt. On level easy, it will amount 50000$, on medium - 100000$ and on hard - 150000$. The maximum amount that you can loan is 200000$. When developing your farm, you will frequently come to realize that you could use some additional cash (for example to buy a sprayer). Taking a loan is one of the options here. Is it a poor choice? Not necessarily - the interest is only 560$ per day and buying a machine that will increase your profits (for example by increasing the amount of crop or speeding up your work process) can be worth it.

Another option is to complete delivery missions - when you have solid supplies, you can earn a lot on that. When you don't plan to make any bigger expenditures, you should store some of your crop and sell only as much as you need to make a living. Don't bother yourself with storing at the beginning of the game, as money will be useful "here and now".

A new ride means that youre doing well. - Developing the farm (in short) - Other - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and Walkthrough A new ride means that you're doing well.

1. You start the game with machines that allow you to grow only grain (wheat, barley, canola). The first two plants are the most profitable, so start with them.

2. If you can, sell the supplies from the silo or warehouse, or get a loan at the beginning, to buy a sprayer as soon as you can (it will increase your crops).

3. Coordinate your work all the time and sell crop to earn money for new equipment - a trailer, a better sowing machine and later a new harvester and tractor.

4. When having the right tools, don't hesitate too long with buying a new piece of land. Don't overinvest either. You need to be sure that you will have enough machines to work on the field you buy.

5. Take advantage of other options of earning money - try woodcutting, keeping animals and complete mission. When you have six fields and some good equipment, you can think about choosing a specialization for your farm.

6. Don't try to achieve everything at once. Start animal husbandry or biogas production only when you have the proper background. A new business usually requires some initial capital and the money won't pay off instantly.

7. Try to switch to growing potatoes and sugar beets, which will bring you better profits. However, if you don't want to invest in new equipment, make sure that you always get new tools for growing grain.

8. When you have a lot of money, invest in machines needed to produce biogas or focus on keeping cows. Further profits should be invested in objects (preferably those ones that don't require any attention, like for example solar collectors).

Growing plants and selling the crop is your main source of income during most of the game. Therefore, it is good to remember that it is not always advisable to sell the product no matter what.

Increased demand is a perfect opportunity to make a small fortune. - Buying and selling - Other - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughIncreased demand is a perfect opportunity to make a small fortune.

First of all, you have to control and compare the prices in the shops. They change every hour. Sometimes, the differences are small (10$ - 20$) and are noticeable only when selling large amounts (however, at the beginning of the game, even such small differences may matter). In most cases, a given shop offers the highest price for one type of product and the price for the rest is unsatisfying. Therefore, always check and compare the prices, as you may encounter 70$ - 100$ differences. Then, with such a small amount as 10t, you can earn 1000$ more. Think about what will happen if you start transporting crops that are a few times bigger. Pay attention to the price changes (a green arrow represents a raise, a red one represent a fall) and you will be able to earn more for your work. You need only a little effort and you will be able to get rich faster. Remember: never sell crop without checking the prices first. You can do it using the PDA [I].

This window informs you about high demand. - Buying and selling - Other - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThis window informs you about high demand.

You will also frequently encounter a situation in which some shop announces increased demand (you will be notified with a proper window). It is a perfect moment to sell the supplies from your warehouse or silo. The prices can be even two times higher than usually. High demand lasts for a given period and only one shop offers the increased price - it is marked on the minimap. In your PDA, you can check how much more you will receive for the product - 1, 3 times more may not be enough for you and maybe you want to wait for a better offer. High demand doesn't apply to the whole offer of the shop, but only to one product.

Sale will allow you to save some money. Buy only the things you need! - Buying and selling - Other - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughSale will allow you to save some money. Buy only the things you need!

Remember also that you can save money when buying new machines. Shops may announce promotions on particular models and you will receive a notification on the screen. Some of the machines will be cheaper for some time. If you've planned to buy something, you won't get a better offer.

The place, where you can sell machines directly - Buying and selling - Other - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe place, where you can sell machines directly

Don't forget to sell the equipment directly, i.e. leaving it in an appropriate spot near the shop. You will then receive additional 20% (normally, you can sell machines for a half of their price, so add the 20% to it). As you can see, managing your finances right is as important as hard work.

Earning money is the main goal in the game. You can do that in a lot of ways, but using the chaff for making biogas is one of the best and generates the highest profit. However, starting this business (in the optimal version) requires a large initial capital, so this option is available only for players whose farms are already well developed.

The place where you sell silage. - Biogas - a profitable business - Other - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe place where you sell silage.

Producing biogas consists in collecting the chaff, transporting it to a special silo in the biogas plant and selling it (you will need a tractor with a front loader for that). It is also good to think about buying a new field, located close to the plant, to save some time on the transport. To mow grass, you only need a simple mower and a loading wagon, but making chaff requires more expensive equipment.

After you press the chaff/grass and drive over it, the fermentation will begin. - Biogas - a profitable business - Other - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughAfter you press the chaff/grass and drive over it, the fermentation will begin.

In the minimal version, which also allows you to earn quite a lot (but requires more time), you will need.

- FC 3525 mower (13500$)

- Euroboss 330T loading wagon (27000$)

- T4.75 tractor with a front loader or universal bucket (70300$).

Total cost: 110800$

With the mower and the loading wagon, go onto nearby pastures and road verges. Your aim is to gather at least 60000l of grass (you will need to transport it three times when using the cheapest trailer). Unload the grass in any silo in the biogas plant. After transporting enough grass, press it and drive over it so that the option of covering the silo appears. Select the option and wait for the fermentation to end.

The shovel has 2,5x more capacity. - Biogas - a profitable business - Other - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe shovel has 2,5x more capacity.

Now, you will need a front loader, to sell the silage. Load it onto a bucket and drive to the two containers, when you can unload it (it is a bit difficult when using the cheapest version). A universal bucket can transport 1800l, for which you will obtain about 2900$. After transporting the whole amount (60000l), you will earn 96000$ (the profit is 1600$ per ton). As you can see, it is a very profitable business.

Buying a harvester with which you can gather chaff is the biggest expenditure. - Biogas - a profitable business - Other - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughBuying a harvester with which you can gather chaff is the biggest expenditure.

The optimal version of producing biogas is much more viable, but it requires larger initial capital. You will need:

- a field near the biogas plant (for example no. 41 - 48600$, Bjornholm);

- a special harvester (Big X 110) with a header, which allows you to gather chaff - cost: 460000$;

- a tipper for the harvester (for example TMK 266 BULL for 35000$)

- a sowing machine that allows you to sow corn (it is the most efficient way) - Tempo F8 for 61000$

- a loader with a proper shovel (89800$).

Total cost: 694000$ (you can reduce it by sowing corn on a different field, using a front loader, a cheaper tipper, or even getting chaff fro other kinds of grain; however, try to achieve this configuration, as this is the most efficient one).

A tractor will do just fine to press the chaff. - Biogas - a profitable business - Other - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughA tractor will do just fine to press the chaff.

The way of producing biogas is almost the same. First, sow the corn on the field you've bought and spray it. When the plant grows, send the harvester to harvest the chaff, which will be loaded onto the trailer (be careful not to overload it - the harvester will continue to gather chaff, even when the trailer's capacity is reached). From the whole field, you will obtain about 146t of chaff. Store it in any silo and when the harvest is done, press the chaff and start the fermentation.

The last element is selling the silage. - Biogas - a profitable business - Other - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe last element is selling the silage.

When the fermentation process is completed, load the silage onto a shovel. Next, unload the product to the containers in the biogas plant. For one trip, you will earn 7200$. Transporting the whole silo will require you to do about 35 trips. This gives you about 235000$ in total. In the meantime, remember about cultivating and sowing again. This way, you can earn a lot of money relatively fast.

Working all the time, you should take a moment to relax... - Earning money - Other - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughWorking all the time, you should take a moment to relax...

The development of your farm depends directly on the money you have. The case is simple: the more cash you own, the sooner you can buy new machines, which will increase the efficiency of your work and therefore make your crops bigger - earning you more money. What to do, to earn as much as possible? Here's a list of a few ways to do that:

- Grow plants - this is the first way of earning money, as you own all the necessary equipment from the beginning. Try to make sure that appropriate machines are always working on your fields. Invest when it's necessary, but do it wisely - don't purchase any machines that you don't need and require daily maintenance.

- Sell crops - this is fairly obvious - the crop that you harvest should be sold. However, do that only when the price is satisfying, in the shop, in which you will get the highest price. You can also wait until one of the shops announces increased demand.

- Complete missions - the equipment required to start completing mowing missions is rather cheap and the investment will pay off after 1 or 2 missions. A tractor with a front loader is more expensive, but it will be useful in the future as well and will also pay off after a few missions. Later in the game, delivery missions can bring you very high profits, because of the large bonuses.

- Start animal husbandry - a well developed animal farm requires some time, but may bring considerable profits. Start with chickens, to slowly move to sheep, which don't require much attention. Eventually, start a cow husbandry. Keeping cows is very time-consuming (especially at the beginning), but it will pay off.

- Place objects - when you have some more money, don't just rest on your laurels. Placing objects will bring high profits, especially when talking about solar collectors and wind energy converters, which doesn't require any attention.

- Cut trees - this business can be started with fairly small capital. At the beginning, cutting will be arduous and time-consuming, but it is a good way to earn a lot of money.

- Produce biogas - when already owning a well-prospering farm, you can earn even more by producing and selling silage.

- Find all the coins - the reward for collecting all 100 gold coins will be filling up your silos and warehouse. Selling the supply you obtain this way will bring you a huge amount of cash.

- Sell machines directly - it is easy to forget about the possibility of selling machines directly at the shop. Sometimes you will buy new equipment and the old machines won't be of use anymore - don't sell them automatically, through the menu, but drive to the shop instead and place them in the appropriate spot. You can sell implements the same way - just detach them from a machine and place in the same spot.

A fast way to make money

Modern farmers money factory. - Earning money - Other - Farming Simulator 15 - Game Guide and WalkthroughModern farmer's money factory.

If you don't want to work too much, you can use an easy way to earn a lot of money. It is not very "elegant", but in 100% fair with the rules of the game.

You just need to:

- sell all your machines;

- buy objects that don't require your attention and bring constant profits (beehouse, solar collector, wind energy converter);

- set 120x game speed;

- leave the game to itself for a long time.

This way you won't need to do anything and the objects will generate profit every day.

On Bjornholm, you start your adventure on your farm, placed on spot no. [10]. This is where your silos are, your warehouse and your chicken coop. Opposite the farm, you can find two fields that you own from the start (24 and 29, marked with green color). The third one is located near the grain elevator [11] (no. 38). The most important places on the map are the ones where you can sell your product: shipping office [2], transport company [5], biogas plant [6], windmill [8], grain elevator [11] and square [15]. In the shop [7], you can find the objects you buy and you can sell machines. There's also an ATM, which allows you to take a loan. Also, there are important places connected with animal husbandry on the map: chickens [10], sheep [4], cows [13]. You can sell eggs near the mill [8] and in the town, in the northern part of the map [3]. Wool can be sold in the appropriate shop [9].

There are also gas stations (allowing you to refuel your machines), phones (some useful info about the game) and job boards (missions appear on them) spread around the map.

The table below shows the prices of fields on Bjornholm, along with their area and price for 1ha. The fields that you own from the start are: 24, 29 and 38

Most of the fields on the map are of small or medium size and their price seldom amounts more than 100000$. The average cost of 1 ha is very similar on every piece of land. Thanks to a high number of relatively small fields, developing your farm is easier, as you can quickly earn money to buy new fields.

You can find 100 gold coins on the Bjornholm map. There are spread around the whole map and finding them all may take you some time. Some coins are easy to spot and some are hidden, for example behind building or between trees. It is good to have a car, when looking for the coins (however, buying a Piqup is quite an expenditure, as it costs 59000$). Remember also that as a farmer, you are in great shape, so you can sprint all the time ([SHIFT]). After collecting all the gold coins, you can collect the reward.
