Black and White 2 Game Guide & Walkthrough

Time to start playing in the colorful lands, somewhere - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Time to start playing in the colorful lands, somewhere... no one knows where. Thanks to Your godly abilities, lead the Greek people to victory over the brutal Aztecs. Holding them with a strong hand, or by helping when they're in need, You'll receive the glory due to You, which You'll use to defeat all Your enemies. Of course, there had to be a creature, Your earthly envoy, who with some help, or no help, will help You in all that faith throws against You - in battles and building the cities.

This guide contains a detailed description of all nine lands, along with details about the quest from the silver scrolls (and others). Furthermore, I threw in a handful of valuable advises.

Have fun!

Lukasz 'Crash' Kendryna

Thanks to this being, no menace should create fear in You. His strength and abilities stand up to Your opponents power with ease. I won't hide the fact that he's created mainly for battle since when he participates in building the cities, You can't count on him too much.

As good

The main objective Your creature should have while being good is helping in city duties. Thanks to his abilities (roles) as a builder, gatherer, or entertainer, You'll be able to make a friendly pet. Choosing a certain role makes him do only that ability, that's why once You pick a role, You should place him in a certain area. For example, once You place a couple of foundations and You want Your creature to help the peasants build, choose the builder role and tie him to one of the nearby buildings (a border will show up around him, in which he'll complete the chosen duty).

You can also let him do what he wants to do by choosing the 'free will' role. By observing him and by properly reacting to what he's doing (and he really has a wide array of actions), punish him or reward him. By doing this, You allow or forbid him from doing certain activities. This is how You create his character.

The most useful role that I advise to expand (by buying the next level in the tools bar, in the tribute section) is gathering. Thanks to this You increase the growth of Your stock, which later on You can easily use for building purposes (if Your creature builds, it takes a long time and it's not as effective). Also, You can make him bring raw materials from areas where Your influence line doesn't reach.

As evil

If You wish for his personality to become evil (in a moral sense), use the soldier role to the maximum. His strength is so huge, that in some missions he defeats enemy armies by himself. Your priority should be using Your tribute to level up this role, since its extremely important.

His strength can also be increased by buying him miracles. The miracles destroy big armies with ease. The most useful is probably the fire miracle, thanks to which Your creature can kill from longer distances (eluding damage) archers, which dont even react to him. He can also throw the fire miracle over enemy walls to kill troops stationed there and to damage buildings. The heal miracle is also extremely useful. He uses it once his hit points are low and also on Your units.

The creature is ideal for a defensive wall, of course not to the letter. If Your city is placed in an area where only one road leads to it, You should place Your creature there (by tying him down with the soldier leash) and he'll eliminate all foes coming by.

Homes - impressiveness and happiness

How can a city without homes exist? It can't! That's why You'll usually build different kinds of homes and as long as You're the evil god, it's not too complicated, and if You'll be the good god, You'll have to put some effort into it.

Not some living things just people will live in those houses. That's why just a roof and a whole in the wall instead of a window won't be enough - You have to take care of their needs. Try not to place a lot of houses of the same kind alongside each other because it decreases happiness. Place them so that there will be enough space in between them for such buildings as markets with different stuff to sell, wells, buildings ensuring entertainment and other different and smaller decorations (columns, torches).

Just as in the game "Pharaoh", try not placing houses near industrial buildings, its best to build industries far away from home districts to avoid problems.

While being the evil god, as I mentioned previously, You don't have to worry about the different city statistics. The important thing is that You own a lot of soldiers ready to die for You ( in this instance, men). Place as much houses as You can, one beside the other, and every here and there build a nursery which will increase the birth rate.

Influence line

The green influence line is nothing else than a border behind which You have significantly reduced possibilities to operate. You won't be able to move raw materials, use miracles, or what's worse, kill the enemy with them. For actions behind this line use Your creature.

But also, You can expand the influence line, and the easiest way to do so is to place the most impressive buildings on its edge. If You build a 'wonder', You will be able to operate on a clearly larger area. You can also do this with villas but with smaller results. By placing an impressive building inside Your city, its influence to the border won't be wasted - instead of 'cutting' into an area, Your influence line will stretch all around Your city (proportional to the 'cut'). By expanding the influence line with small buildings, You can easily control Your reach (not losing a lot of raw materials for the big structures) and create a 'green hand', with which You'll be able to add all nearby raw materials.

Roads

Important for cities, roads, could not be omitted form the game. Roads don't cost You anything and place them wherever they're needed. Thanks to them, peasants will walk faster which increases the speed of their work and their efficiency. Roads also increase impressiveness, so try to connect all structures with roads. In areas where peasants walk and there's no roads, a path appears - look for those and replace them with roads.

We have six different miracles for our disposal, which we can use in a lot of different ways and for different purposes.

Water

The first, free miracle. Using it often is encouraged. Thanks to it, You can increase the growth rate of the grain in Your fields (by throwing it on the field). Another very useful form of using it is watering trees and 'multiplying' them by doing so. If You're playing as the good god and You're running out of wood, plant three (or more) trees one by the other. Then, throw water on them which will make them grow higher. Also, new trees should show up, small seedlings near the older ones - watering those makes them grow faster and will create new seedlings (the circle closes). Doing this is very effective and is useful, especially if there are no trees left inside Your influence line and this raw material can only be brought in by Your peasants and Your creature.

Price in tribute tab: 0 tribute

Mana cost: 750

Healing

This miracle will be extremely useful if You're the god of evil (war). Thanks to it, You can heal Your wounded peasants, Your platoons after a battle, and most of all, Your creature. Your creature should be Your main force in Your army, and it's him You should heal the most often.

Price in tribute tab: 20 000 tribute

Mana cost: 1 000

Shield

Miracle that I used rarely, but it sometimes can be useful. You can use it in two ways. Once You see Your enemy's platoons and his creature coming to attack You and there is a risk that the peasants might be wounded (You have to admit that it doesn't happen often), You can use this miracle on them to shield them from wounds. The other way to use it is to scatter the enemy platoon with the wind it generates. Once You use it in the middle of a enemy platoon, it will break up (the wounds are quite small, but You can use the nearby water or cliff to kill them).

Cost in tribute tab: 30 000 tribute

Mana cost: 1 250

Fire

A very useful miracle, especially for players that attack often. It's thanks to this miracle that You can defend from enemy attacks and weaken their creature quite a bit. Once You see that enemy platoons are stationed near Your influence line or that they crossed it, wipe them out with fire. You can throw it, just like rocks (which will also bounce from the ground a little) or use it by 'spilling' it.

Price in tribute tab: 60 000 tribute

Mana cost: 2 000

Lightning

This miracle, just like fire, is used for defense and for attacking enemy units. I advise using it for attack, since when defending with it, the effect will be similar to fire but the cost will be much higher.

Price in tribute tab: 90 000 tribute

Mana cost: 5 000

Meteor

The most expensive and most spectacular miracle. You'll probably buy it near the end of the game, and I'll advise You to buy it only when You won't have any other expenses. Its cost and use is huge, but the effects aren't adequate. If You'll use it, it's best to do so on the enemy's creature.

Price in tribute tab: 150 000 tribute

Mana cost: 7500

Your creature, just like You, can use miracles. They're pretty useful so buy them as soon as possible (especially if You're the evil god).

Water

The only miracle that is intended mainly for the good creature. He will use it on the fields and trees (I described the effect in the 'Miracles - water' section).

Price in tribute tab: 50 000 tribute

Healing

An extremely useful miracle which You should buy as soon as possible, although it won't be needed in the first lands. Thanks to it Your creature (if You'll 'teach' him to do so) will heal Your peasants, Your military units and also himself during and after battle (he won't die and will fight longer).

Price in tribute tab: 75 000 tribute

Lightning

Not such an expensive ability and a very helpful one on units attacking Your creature in short distance. Thanks to it he'll with ease defend himself from even large assaults. Buy this miracle first, right after starting to game.

Price in tribute tab: 75 000 tribute

Fire

The most useful miracle. A Creature that knows how to use it will be able to defend himself from archers that can kill him in quite a short time. It's thanks to this miracle that he'll be able to wipe out units from the walls as well as behind the walls. Invest in this ability as soon as You can.

Every land I described is made up of two major sections: gameplay and quests. In the first land, I described how to properly play - building and battling. In the 'quests' section, there's a description to quests from the silver scroll and from the 'special quests' tab. In some parts, I mentioned a little about tasks from other sections (like the city or the creature), but because of their easiness and of their often repeatings, I didn't fatigue myself with writing about obvious things.

Most of the lands I described in two parts (in the gameplay section). Paragraphs that begin with the orange color are for the people that want to go through the game being the good god and those descriptions are usually shorter since the strategy repeats itself in most of the lands. Paragraphs that start with the blue color are descriptions for the evil god's strategy and for war tactics. Here You'll find a more detailed description and more pointers.

Land one is nothing more than a training arena with the basic elements of the game. The stage isn't hard and You shouldn't have problems with it.

In the beginning You have an important choice to make, from four (or five) creatures, You have to choose the one that You will use to complete the rest of Your tasks. They don't differ in abilities, so the choice depends from Your liking.

Next, You'll be taken through a lesson of how to use the camera. You'll learn all the ways of using and maneuvering it. If this is your first time playing, I advise you to familiarize Yourself with it.

2 - LAND ONE - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe next step in order to familiarize Yourself with all the aspects of the controls is uncovering two brown scrolls - LAND ONE - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

The next step in order to familiarize Yourself with all the aspects of the controls is uncovering two brown scrolls. Thanks to the two scrolls You'll learn how to move objects (in this circumstance the rocks inside the red circle) and to give out work orders to Your followers (farmer, lumberjack, parent and builder). Listen closely to Your 'conscience' because it precisely tells You how to do it.

You'll finish the land by activating the gold scroll located on the slope of the mountain pointed out by the camera.

When You finish that, Your creature will pick up a peasant and will want to eat it. By punishing him You'll forbid him doing that, but by petting him You'll allow him to do so. This is the first, but not the last step to educating his character.

Further actions will depend only from You and from the path You choose. If You choose to be evil, create a bigger army (about 50 units) and attack the remaining villages, watching out for Your opponents armies in that region. If You choose to be good, build up Your capital boosting its impressiveness and happiness (remember about the most wanted buildings, build a few temples).

In order to save time, start building up Your city - LAND FOUR - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

In order to save time, start building up Your city. Build an altar, a storehouse with a field, a temple and houses for the peasants.

The next thing You have to take care of in the beginning of the game is building walls - LAND FOUR - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

The next thing You have to take care of in the beginning of the game is building walls. This process will be explained to You by the bronze scroll.

After that is done, put Your followers to work, create: four farmers and three breeders of each sex, some lumberjacks and miners (later on, regularly make more of each).

In the creatures pen, a bronze scroll should show up - activate it - LAND FOUR - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

In the creatures pen, a bronze scroll should show up - activate it. It's a lesson about his roles. Your conscience will explain the function of the 'creature's role' from the tool bar. To finish this lesson, make the creature a gatherer and tell him to (by holding the right leash) gather grain. Later, 'release him' of his duty.

After creating the first altar, a bronze scroll will appear in it about 'miracles' - LAND FOUR - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

After creating the first altar, a bronze scroll will appear in it about 'miracles'. In order to finish the lesson, create a worshiper. You do it the same way as other jobs: pick up a peasant and place him near the altar. Next, throw one miracle of water (best if onto the grain field - it will quicken the food growth rate).

At this moment there are two paths, You determine which one to choose. Either finish the land by increasing impressiveness and gain people, or destroy Your enemy by capturing his capital and the villages.

In the instance of the 'good path', the tactic is the same in every mission. You have to build up Your city so that it will be maximally beautiful and safe (just the wall needs to be built for it to be safe). Place as much different buildings as You possibly can. Place a lot of decorative buildings and attend Your peoples needs. Also, create buildings indicated by the 'town hall'. When people are going to come to join You, remember to open the gates, if they wait too long, they can die (while opening the gates, watch out for the enemy trying to sneak in - it's best to have one small platoon ready).

Being the god of war, Your task is to conquer the enemy's villages - LAND FOUR - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Being the god of war, Your task is to conquer the enemy's villages. On the map above, I pointed out the order in which to conquer in. Create two platoons of about 30 soldiers and send them into different points. Also use Your creature (with the soldier role on). His main task should be destroying the enemy's army before it can get to Your city/conquered-villages. The strategic point at which he should be stationed at most of the time is the passage between the mountains (blue dot). In that point, the strongest enemy platoons move and it's easy to destroy them there.

After You have conquered the villages 1 through 5, take most of Your army and take over village 6. Concentrate all Your platoons there (inside the influence line) and heal Your soldiers. You can also increase Your strength by completing the silver scroll quest "Legion of the undead" (details in the 'Land four - quests' section).

To attack the capital city of Your enemy, first destroy the gate, and parts of the wall where enemy archers are stationed at with Your creature. Afterwards, send him and a platoon (about 50 soldiers) onto the enemy's creature.

Send part of the soldiers to capture the 'town hall', and send out the remaining army to take care of the smaller enemy platoons - LAND FOUR - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Send part of the soldiers to capture the 'town hall', and send out the remaining army to take care of the smaller enemy platoons.

The battle isn't too hard if You constantly control it.

The theme of the quest is to throw a barrel from one island to another. Your need to make three accurate throws. The 'projectiles' are infinite, so You don't have to worry about how many You have remaining. If You can't throw accurately enough, complete the quest after You conquer the whole land - You will only have to carry them over.

A inadequate move stops the process and extinguishes all the torches. There are a few possibilities but You shouldn't have problems with it. After completing the quest there is a short scene and You receive a platoon of 12 undead, which You should use to conquer Your enemy.

The first land in which You will fight against the Japanese. Their strength is slightly higher, and in addition to that, they quickly supply themselves with a wonder.

The beginning of the game in the new land is a moral choice - LAND FIVE - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

The beginning of the game in the new land is a moral choice. Being good, start building a city. Consider decorative buildings (if You don't posses them, buy them immediately: statue store, plant store etc.) place them equally, at least one kind by each road. Don't forget about the torches/columns/statues. Later on, You can suffer from the lack of ore since the mine (green dot) will quickly run out. The solution is, even being good, taking over village 4. There is another vital mine near it. Another alternative can be a mine on the elevation (green dot). Gathering ore from it can be accomplished by using Your creature.

If You wish to be evil, use the 50 archers You received at the beginning and conquer the neighboring villages (in the order as on the picture). Use the creature to guard, so that the opponent won't invade Your territory. If You chose evil, don't forget about building up Your city (houses and the basic needs, so that You can build and army).

1 - LAND FIVE - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and WalkthroughOnce You have gained new territories, finish up the already started walls (red arcs) and place some archers on them - LAND FIVE - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Once You have gained new territories, finish up the already started walls (red arcs) and place some archers on them. Supplement the lacks in the army with new recruits.

Once You've build up Your city and You posses at least two platoons with 50 soldiers each (not including the archers giving to You at the beginning), you can start expanding - LAND FIVE - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Once You've build up Your city and You posses at least two platoons with 50 soldiers each (not including the archers giving to You at the beginning), you can start expanding. First, send Your creature to eliminate the enemy platoons stationed in this region (except the archers, evade them). Conquer the first village (1) and thanks to the influence line which will appear, take care of the remaining archers with the fire miracle. After that, take over the next villages. First take over (2), and then (3) with the help of Your creature (clean out the road near the walls). A small part of Your army can be taken over by the 'Siren' magic, which the opponent possesses.

Once there is only the capital left, start creating more platoons (or even sooner). Start the attack with at least 350 soldiers and a leveled up in the soldier role creature (soldier on the next level, the ability to cast miracles). Attack from two sides, the front and the 'left'. Your creature should attack first, but once You see his life near ending, try to retreat him and take him behind one of Your influence lines and heal him. You opponent will start creating new platoons once he has lost all of his army, so be careful all the time.

This quest is located right beside Your capital city, on a small elevation. Your task is to help a young warrior destroy some boulders. For this purpose, You need to use the manipulate ability. Press and hold the action button on Your mouse and move the hand so that it goes through the boulder. You have to do it quite quickly, so that the moment the monk hits the boulder, it cracks . At first, dust is going to fly up, after which a bright circle is going to show up (that's when You have the certainty that the boulder will break). You have to destroy three boulders.

You will find this quest on a small island, crisscrossed by multiple roads. It's a mini pacman game in which You have to collect 4 parts of a treasure map. The locations of the parts are pointed out on the picture above. Bad guys are going to walk on the roads. You have to manipulate the signs so that You'll evade them (there are six of them). Very useful in this quest is using pause game (default "p" button) and removing the trees - helps to see who's where. I'm not able to guide You through the quest since how it unravels depends on the moment at which You start the quest (from the location of the bad guys). Control the location of the treasure hunter, the one You have to evade the bad guys with.

The silver scroll that activates this quest lies not far from the Japanese capital. You'll find out that You have to save young lambs, 25 of them. During their birth, they'll fly up into the air, and You have to catch them before they disappear from Your view. In order to complete the quest, catch at least 20 lambs. Sometimes You'll have to use the 'scoop' ability, since they'll jump out one right after another and there won't be enough time to safely place them on the ground. If You fail, You can redo the quest.

Reward: 40 000 tribute

Enclose town within walls

This quest is a very simple one and basically, inevitable. If You want to complete it, You have to enclose Your first city from the rest of the world. To do so, place walls in the locations pointed out - with red arcs - on a picture in the previous section ('land four - gameplay').

Reward: 15 000 tribute

Take over 3 towns by impressiveness

This quest is mainly for the god of peace. Build up and increase impressiveness in the rear end of Your city, so that You can take over three nearby villages.

Reward: 15 000 tribute

Link 3 of your influence bubbles together

In order to complete this quest, You have to build up Your villages so that the influence lines reach onto each other. The best way is to do it on the first two (plus Your capital) conquered villages.

Reward: 5 000 tribute

Kill every living thing (war)

This quest is a little different than the rest in this section. To complete it, everything that lives on the land has to be killed. Because of the specification of the quest, complete it after You have conquered the entire land, since Your people/armies also have to die (animals also). Burn them with the fire miracle, pick them up using the 'scoop' ability and throw them into the water. If You're patient enough, You'll be properly rewarded.

The last different quest, not being 'special', is the obligation to build any kind of a wonder. The cheapest one costs 400 000 tribute, which means its quite an expense. In order to accumulate this large sum, don't use up Your tribute on any thing that You don't need and try to complete as many quests as You possibly can. Some of the tribute comes back since the reward is pretty large itself.

The first land in which Your opponent won't be inactive and will often attack Your capital. It won't be massive battles, but from time to time it's wise to control the situation near the walls since Your inactiveness can end with You 'waking up' when Your buildings are already falling.

1 - LAND SIX - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe beginning is as usual - start the basic construction of the city (storehouse, grain fields, altar etc - LAND SIX - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

The beginning is as usual - start the basic construction of the city (storehouse, grain fields, altar etc.). As I mentioned before, on this level You can be attacked by the enemy, that's why place Your creature near the road leading into the land (but make sure he's out of range from the nearby catapult - on the hill), thanks to which he'll stop the oncoming enemy platoons. In the quest tab, there is an objective mentioning about only attacking under the cover of night. If You want to complete it, change the time of the day when the enemy is getting near.

The beginning build up won't differ much from the previous ones, but this time walls (red lines) will be extremely useful, that's why build them as soon as possible - LAND SIX - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

The beginning build up won't differ much from the previous ones, but this time walls (red lines) will be extremely useful, that's why build them as soon as possible. The enemy platoons will walk up to the walls and stand there, not doing any damage to You, and You'll, from time to time, send a fire miracle or Your creature at them to take care of the problem. It's going to be worse when the attack will be assisted by a catapult, that's when You have to act quickly (Your creature will destroy it with one hit).

Build up the city in the 'north' direction (orientate using the picture - blue arrows), since the 'south' (terrain in the green figure) area is fertile land and use it for Your fields. The limited ore will become a pain (green dots - mines), thats why use mainly wood which there is plenty of, and You can create trees Yourself by planting the trees and watering them. Buildings that don't need ore but increase impressiveness a lot are the altar and plenty of villas.

The ore You gain from the people that join You, use on the most needed and the most impressive buildings.

Being evil, build up so that You have a large number of men and You can create a large army - LAND SIX - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Being evil, build up so that You have a large number of men and You can create a large army. To make the people breed faster, place a lot of basic houses, a couple of nurseries, and keep the food stocks high.

But before You create an army, don't waste time and send out Your creature on a special mission. Inland, there are a lot of scattered enemy platoons and catapults (red dots on the hills). Your creature should easily do the job, and thanks to that, later on You won't have much trouble conquering those terrains.

2 - LAND SIX - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and WalkthroughThe road to the hills is blocked by walls (three red lines on the picture above) - LAND SIX - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

The road to the hills is blocked by walls (three red lines on the picture above). Get through them by destroying the gates. To do this without any endangerment to losses, first get rid of the archers stationed on top of the walls by placing Your creature on a certain distance ('place' the leash in the ground). Once he senses the archers, he'll attack them by throwing the fire miracle at them (which You should already have bought). After that, just walk up and destroy the gate.

Once the area is cleared, start creating an army as quickly as possible, so that You'll have at least 150 soldiers (best if in two platoons).

Conquer just as the arrows show, moving by the 'south' beachside - LAND SIX - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Conquer just as the arrows show, moving by the 'south' beachside. Always place Your creature on the front, his task is to clear the area, especially killing the enemy's platoons in the cities which You'll first take over.

The first village is the easiest one to conquer and You shouldn't have any trouble doing so. In the second one, the wall, archers on it, and the catapults stationed there are the main problem. To successfully conquer that city, take Your creature and make him take care of the obstacles. Take down the gate the same way as before. The biggest trouble will be village four since it's diseased. Don't send Your armies there under any circumstance since they'll die from the disease. First You have to heal the village, and You will do so in the quest "Cure the sick town" (details in the 'Land six - quests' section).

The blue arrows show the way which Your enemy will send his platoons onto Your city from time to time - watch out and don't let him surprise You - keep the gates to You capital closed and when his platoons will be near, destroy them with the fire miracle.

The last step to victory while being 'evil' is taking over Your opponents capital - LAND SIX - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

The last step to victory while being 'evil' is taking over Your opponents capital. For this attack, make a bigger army so that You'll have about 200-250 soldiers. First conquer the last village (point 1). Thanks to the influence line, heal Your troops and Your creature there. Point 2 shows where the wall is and the enemy archers that are stationed on it. Kill them using Your creature (if there is a need, retreat and heal him).

Next, take him into the enemy's terrain and start to kill his soldiers ( point 3 - main battle) - LAND SIX - gameplay - Black and White 2 - Game Guide and Walkthrough

Next, take him into the enemy's terrain and start to kill his soldiers ( point 3 - main battle). Once the battle is taking place, send a platoon (100 soldiers) onto the 'town hall' to start capturing it. Send the rest of Your army to help Your creature. Once You kill everyone, don't move Your army because Your opponent might make more platoons.

After victory, You can start completing the unfinished quests.

The quest You have to complete to take over all the cities. The people living here are diseased and a green smoke is coming off of them. Your task is to heal them. To do so, use 'manipulation' and quickly wave the hand over them, until the smoke disappears. There is quite a lot of sick people, and everyone has to be cured at the same time. If not, the disease will come back. Do this as fast as You can, not wasting Your strength on something else, since You really have to be fast to heal everyone.

Quest in which You have to change from evil to good, or from good to evil. I don't advise You to complete this quest since it's better to stay at whatever side You already are. Your up to date indicator can be checked at the 'town hall' by moving the hand onto the bowl with fire/water.

Use the area in the green figure for the fields since that's where the most fertile land is. The hill (blue figure) is the best area for the most impressive buildings, that area is the most impressive and increases impressiveness. Place two walls on the land pointed out by the red lines. Playing as the good god You might need more space, so move the walls further out.

You can't complain about not enough wood, but You can't say the same about ore. The only near mine (green dot) might not give enough ore, so quickly build a 'smelter' so that You'll have more ore.

If You wish to conquer the land by force, take over the village in the order pointed out on the picture. The first villages (1's) shouldn't be guarded by the enemy. You'll take them over without much trouble. City number two is surrounded by walls and bigger platoons will be stationed in it. Send and carefully steer Your creature, so that he'll significantly weaken the enemy forces (especially archer platoons). After that, take the city over with Your army. Village four also shouldn't be such a pain in the neck. For the city on the hill (four), You should destroy the enemy's archers on the walls with Your creature and go in with a large army. Send out one platoon to capture the 'town hall', and another to attack enemy platoons. The last standing city You should attack with all Your remaining forces (best if around 200-250 troops) and with Your creature. The platoons of archers and catapults located there, try to force out by making them follow You, and then destroy them (with Your creature) one by one so that You can later on attack with a big advantage.

Build up Your city toward the desert and the 'impressive' hill (blue lines). Place the walls for Your defense between the rocks - three sections (red lines).

If You wish to conquer the Aztecs by force, You won't have a lot of opportunities for big battles, the map is very humble with the terrain, and maneuvering here is minimal. Like always, use Your creature to its maximum potential. He should already be a master at fighting. Send him out and slowly kill off enemy platoons that are stationed in the area. Be very careful with the archers, they shoot with flaming arrows which light up Your creature and handicap his ability to attack.

The road to the first village is blocked with a wall. If You wish to quickly take over the village, send Your creature to blaze the wall down. If You wait a long time and You'll defend from enemy attacks, the wall will become deserted and You'll have a free way through.

City two is pretty well garrisoned and has a wall around it (underlined cities are cities with walls). Simply sending Your creature might end in failure, so try to eliminate the platoons stationed near the walls (outside) one by one, and those in the city...

...make them follow You out. Make them follow You slowly, so that they follow Your creature all the time until they reach the influence line from city one. Once they cross it, destroy them with Your miracles.

City three, although has a wall, is quite weak and without any fear You can weaken them with Your creature. Destroy the gate with him and go into the city to take care of the platoons stationed there. After that, bring over one platoon and capture the city.

To finish the land, You just need the Aztec capital. By now, their army should be quite humble. Use Your creature to kill the archers on the walls and to destroy the gate. Kill the rest with Your army which You should have at least 200 units and should be kept in readiness.

The city You will start with is already partially build, by conquering the land by force, You wont have to build anything else besides one building (obligatory), a wonder.

Right after the start You'll be attacked and it's going to be the biggest mass attack in the game. There will be two fronts near Your walls (I marked them with red lines on the picture above). Station archers on the walls and be ready for fast maneuvering with the camera. Also, make a large number of worshipers in the altar, because miracles are Your biggest weapon. Place Your creature in front of the gate (outside) and make him destroy the first, oncoming catapults. Later on, retreat him because he won't be able to take care of the archers by himself. Go to the second front, coming from city one will be the gorilla, he'll start to destroy Your walls. Don't waste miracles on him, just pick up the rock located near Your city and drop it on him continuously. Once he is weakened enough, send Your creature to fight with him. If any enemy platoons cross Your influence line, destroy them with the fire miracle (You'll have a certain number of mana from the start).

After conquering the second city, concentrate on Your capital, since from time to time You can be attack by enemy troops (under that circumstance, wait until they reach the influence line and destroy them with Your miracles).

Concentrate all Your platoons in Your capital and get ready to march out to the final battle. If You lost a large number of troops, try to replenish Your losses, even though the first attacker will be, as always, Your creature.

The most troops are near every gate, kill them with Your creature but with the help of Your army (archers and soldiers). Don't worry if Your creature dies, wait a while and send him back to battle from his pen.

The enemy gorilla roams around the area. Don't worry about him since he'll rarely attack You, only in the moment of the biggest menace defend Yourself.
