How many rings do you need to buy a shiny chao in Sonic Adventure 2 Battle

Depends on what color chao you're getting. All of the shiny chaos require thousands of rings. They're not cheap but fortunately rings are not hard to get. If I recall correct the highest total price I have seen is around 6,000 or so.
