What do you do to make your chao a devil in sonic adventure 2 battle

There are 2 kinds a regular dark or a real devil. A real devil means a dark chaos chao. Look that up on YouTube. It is quite easy. The other kind is a regular dark chao. Pet a new born chao with a dark character until the ball on it's head is dark red. Then way for it to evolve
