Is perfect world free

Perfect World International is completely free. You can experience and have access to everything available in the game without spending any money.

That being said, there is a 'Boutique' that does sell many items. To buy items from the Boutique you need Gold. This is different from the in-game currency of coins that you get from mob drops, quests, etc. To get Gold you either need to spend real money and buy it directly from PerfectWorld or you can buy it in-game with coin from other users at the Auction House (there is a specific option for Gold Exchange). You can also look at buying Boutique items directly from users as well, either in the Auction House or from user shops called cat shops.


This kind of games is called free-to-play. You can use different game prepaid cards to get some game cash or you can use a more optional prepaid card called Paysafecard, which you can get almost anywhere. It's up to you to decide if you want to spend some real money in this game. Some items are good for your gameplay, some are just for fun. For example, I spend a 10 Euro Paysafecard a month on Perfect world and I don't regret it.
