Will starship troopers game play on windows vista home basic

Im glad to say I have found out you can get this game to work on vista by edditing some setting files of the game. 1. Open the "global.settings" file found in My Documents\Empire Interactive\SST\Settings (assuming first you have the game installed) by copying and pasting 'Empire Interactive\SST\Settings' into the search tool that comes up when you click the windows start button on your tool bar. 2. scroll down to you see a section called other which looks like this :- Other:

HUD: { "1" } 3. change the Glow, Glow tral & Distort values to 0 (zero) and then save this new (edited) file. 4. Restart the game and it should now be playable although the display will still white out every time you take a hit (damage) in game for a brief moment.
