Why do people like video games
Because they think that if they play on them they will get smarter but they can damage their brain





I think that's a rather simplistic view. I play video games for the same reasons I watch films and read books: because it's entertaining. Some games have a more educational attitude while some are just something to do on the train or on the bus. Some have engrossing stories and characters and play like a massive, interactive movie. Some games are great for playing with friends and actually facilitate social interactions rather than discouraging them.
One of my favourite things about games is having a whole world to explore. When I was a kid I used to play my brother's games just so I could travel across these vibrant, diverse landscapes. It was years before I really thought of actually playing through the story, and I'm glad I did.
