How long does it take for a chickensmoothie pet to grow

It depends on the pet. On the adopt page of each type of animal, it should give you a hint of how long it takes. Tess and Nick occasionally change the growth rate for some pets, based on polls or suggestions, but usually, it stays the same.
And example includes the Wolf/Dog growth rate: Your dogs will automatically grow up as time goes on, usually hitting puppy stage within about 6 - 17 days, and adult stage by about 25 - 40 days of age.
