Why is the Project 64 running slow and has messed-up sound

i know why...try these things,
-right click on desktop, go to themes and put it to windows classic.

-do the same thing and go to setting tab, your screen revolution should be 1152 by 864 pixels and colour quality should be medium 16 bit.

-you have at least 3 or more giga bytes on you computer.

-on your project 64 screen go to options, settings, plugins should be(graphics jabo direct3D 8 1.6) sound (should be zilmars audio plugin ) and the input controller plugin can be any if you a controller.

-if the sound is all messed up go to it's setting and click the box that says sync game to audio.
