Why does the heart not appear above the pinata after you have done all the romance requirements on viva pinata

it could be that you have reached the limit of the number of pinatas in your garden. try selling one of your pinatas. or you could try hitting information then back to the garden on both pinatas then try to romance them it worked for me.
