How do you get pets on oblivion

You can get pets by downloading the expansion packs. In the shivering Isles pack there is one pet and I believe in one of the other packs you can make Atronarchs by combing 3 of their respective salt types on a special altar. The Atronarchs are commandable. If you're on a PC you can download a pet shop mod.
