What is the reson for having video games

That being an extremely broad and kind of weird question I will try to answer as best I can. Games provide entertainment to people such as myself who can't just watch tv and movies and be satisfied. Games give you control of scenarios that would not and cannot happen to you in real life. People like to immerse themselves in stories that are extremely interesting and deep. And it gives you something to do when you are just bored.
