Will Manic ever appear in a Sonic game

sadly, no. it has been such a long time for manic to ever catch up with sonic and being in a sonic game. sega probably forgot about manic for all we know. and if he ever did appear in a sonic game, why would sega choose for manic to come back and appear in a sonic game this late in the sonic series?
