How do you talk on World of Warcraft

There is the built in voice chat but the quality is not really good and it can be kinda of buggy. They have not done anything with it since they put it in the game.

Most people use a third party voice communications application like ventrilo or team speak (links in the related links section). These programs provide better quality but require a server provided by someone to connect to...there is no one main server. Guilds use them to communicate during raids and instances and generally to keep in touch.
