Should I choose ranged or magic or melee as my main attack style and why

I would go with melee, just because there is a larger variety of armor and weapons avalible also it hits higher. mage is very expencive and not really worth it until the higher levels 82+ range is a good choice too but really only if you are going to be pure or train it really high.
