Are the story lines for Skyrim a tad different depending on what type of console you are playing

In short, no.


Skyrim uses a mechanic called "Radiant story" which will create subtle differences in the game depending on your character's race, gender, or story-based choices, among other things.

The only way to actually change Skyrim's storyline is through the use of mods, on the PC.
