Star Wars Battlefront Drop Zone Tips and Strategy Guide

Star Wars Battlefront

The basic idea behind Drop Zone is to control a drop pod on one of the locations on the map. However, one thing that you need to note here is that the drop pod location is always random so there is no getting there early.

Star Wars Battlefront Drop Zone Tips

While playing this mode, you should definitely consider running around the entire map at all times which will not only allow you to eliminate unaware enemies, escape fights, but you may also come across drop pods.

Once a pod has dropped on the map, you need to head to it and activate it — this takes a short while and leaves you susceptible to all sorts of attacks.

Once this is done, your next job is to protect the pod from the entire enemy team until the timer expires. Doing so will allow you to claim the contents dropped from the pod. You need to capture a total of 5 drop pods in order to secure a win.

General Tips and Strategies
Like I have mentioned earlier, the drop pod locations are always random so as to leave players guessing where the next one will be.

Due to this fact, it is a good idea to be on the move and you may end up near the next pod. However, do note that you may also find yourself in unexpected engagements or at a far distance from the pod; giving the enemy team ample time to get it.

In addition to this, it is very much possible that if a drop pod has not been captured by either team, the next one will drop alongside it; bringing two unclaimed pods on the field.

Communication is of paramount importance in Drop Zone and can easily win you games. Try and communicate with your teammates if you plan on capturing or contesting a drop pod and head in together instead of going inside alone.

Furthermore, do note that anyone — from enemy team or friendly team — can acquire the contents of drop pod. You should never let the enemy team grab these as the items provide a significant advantage; so even if you have to get all the contents, do so, but not enemy team.

Lastly, you should also consider running with the Jump Pack or Personal Shield in order to get to drop pods a whole lot faster, get to otherwise inaccessible areas, and to get yourself some precious couple of seconds when it comes to activating the drop pods.
